Non-movie/screen indoor stuff to do with 3 year old

We'll be in Orlando this Sunday through Friday and will have 1 or 1.5 days of non WDW time that may or may not be during thunderstorms. We have a 3 year old who is TV/video free (yes, I am saying that in a Disney forum!) I'd love ideas of something to do that's not a movie or screens of any kind (so no Disney Quest). Something like an indoor playspace or whatnot. Museum appropriate for preschooler would work. It doesn't even have to be "for kids", but should be accepting of/appropriate for kids. If the weather is good well just do the hotel pool, but I want a back-up for rain!

Ideas?

I'd suggest the Orlando Science Center http://www.osc.org. It's a great place for kids of all ages and they have quite a bit of stuff for the younger ones! Heck, it would be worth the trip rain or shine!

This may seem like an odd suggestion, but go to Ikea! Our kids love wandering around in there with all the rooms and displays. Plus its a good, inexpensive place to eat Swedish meatballs! You can buy some small items for very little. Its a very family-friendly place. And its free!

Funny that you say this, we have 3 Ikea's within an hour or so drive! Its Ikea central up here (Nova/DC/Baltimore), so he's been many times--not that he doesn't find it fun each time, though.

Science Center looks great, going to google the ones kidd-freeper suggested.

Thanks!
