Non Main St Wishes Viewing

I have watched from Fantasyland, I honestly didn't care for that. I have watched from the pathway behind the Christmas shop, going towards Crystal Palace. It isn't a great view, but not terrible, and generally, there is pretty much NO ONE there. I have watched from Liberty Square right in front of the Liberty Tree Tavern, and enjoyed that view. I have also watched from the dock at the Grand Floridian, and that was also a quite enjoyable view, and something a bit different from what we are used to.

I've given up on trying to get into the hub near the last minute. It's really a get there early place if you want to watch it from the front of the castle..

My all time favorite place to watch MK fireworks is in the back of the castle behind the carousel. you have the low fireworks on 1 side, and the high ones on the other side. The low ones are very in your face, sometimes even over you. During special fireworks the 360 fireworks are completely surrounding you as they circle the back of hte park (exception 4th of july and new years eve where they fire off even more from all over). An interesting plus is if it's a really humid or not so windy night, the smoke that kind of blocks the view is divided in half and your not looking through it to see them.

Last week I happened to catch them from near pecos bill. I was on the flat wooden bridge standing about where the boats from splash mountain turn after the drop so don't confuse it with the closer to the drop bridge that isn't flat. I really enjoyed them, I had a good view of both the low and high altitudes. I like behind the castle better but if you can't make it there and happen to be in that area, it's a good spot to stop and enjoy them in my opinion.

Of course nowhere but the hub gives you the projection part so if you want the full show, you need to get into the hub.

We watched them from Main Street right behind the flagpole. The flagpole has a railing around it. We were standing behind it so the closest person in front of us was a couple feet away. Yes, there were people behind and next to us but that far back on Main Street was great viewing AND an easy exit strategy and not as crowded. We walked fast but were on the 2nd bus back to POR and in our room by 10. Love the fireworks but hate the claustrophobic feeling and the mobs of people leaving at the same time.

Where is the best non Main St Wishes viewing area?
I know @Robo has posted a map in the past, but I don't remember. I hope he will repost that map.

We will be coming from the 6:15 HDDR to MK for EMH on 10/26. Wishes is at 10PM. I will be using an ECV - my third trip, so not a newbie driving. But I am a bit worried about arriving to a mobbed Main Street after dark on the scooter.
We do have a Jungle Cruise FP+ around 9 which I hear is fun in the dark. So we will be on that side of the park.
Suggestions?
TIA
if you can stand up for just wishes then you may want to go find a spot in front of the castle ( over by casey ) when wish is over find your way ( you may want to look for it before hand) but the closest relling and park your self there or stay where you are and wait about 15 minutes the park dose clear out kind of fast maybe one other person get get a snack from some place near by and you can eat or people watch while you wait.

I always like the fireworks from fantasyland where they are all around you. You don't have the view with the castle in the background, but you don't have a mob around you where all you see if you are short is the back, head, or raised iPad of the person who invariably steps two inches in front of me right as the fireworks are starting on Main Street. It is a totally different perspective that might not be for everyone, but we like it.
Saw it from back there last night and its definitely going to be a more common place to see it from now on.Obviously if you're not a regular visitor and can't see them often or if its your first time you're going to want to see them looking at the front of the castle, but I'll tell you what if you want a different view of the show go see them from Fantasyland, they're just closer to you and makes the show maybe not the way it was intended to be seen but they felt more impressive than from the hub.The amount of people clapping after the show assures me its a great place to see it.

We like the area between 7DMT and BoG. It offers a great unique view of Wishes. It looks like the main fireworks are over Beast's Castle.
