I want to take a moment to say Thank You to all the DVC Member Support Staff Members for all the work they all have done over the past year or so to help us DVC Members with our points. Thank You so very much for all the hours, hard work, and dealing with a lot of DVC Members and our frustrations.
For us Disboards members. My family has never purchased the Annual passes. Mainly because of the cost and the number of times we were, and hopefully in the future, able to visit WDW per year. We simply couldn’t make the use-to-price work for us. So, we had purchased the “Non-Expiring Ticket Option” and loved it because we could spread the cost more efficiently over our visits. They were so much more economical for my little family. We know lots of other DVC families that used them like this as well. We used them mainly because we would stay at WDW for a week once a year and go to the parks for maybe 3 days of that week, or 2 park days and visit a Water Park as well. Then we would “bookend” a DCL cruise. Staying at WDW 2 or 3 days before and after a cruise. Sometimes we wouldn’t even visit a park but relax and enjoy the resort amenities instead. So, you see, an annual pass just doesn’t work for us. DCL sure does though.
So, Disboards friends...
I know WDW has stopped or paused the annual passes. Who here would be at all interested to have WDW bring back the Non-Expiring Ticket Option? For DVC Members only maybe.
Could any Disney Cast Members here on Disboards please pass this on to WDW management and tell them I’m Groveling over this?
I did email this to DVC in the email form on the DVC Member Website.
