I don't think the trolley goes that far. You would be better off just taking a cab from your hotel. Now here's a question - neither myself or my partner drive so how can we get to Universal? We thought the I-Trolley as we're staying at the Peabody on I-Drive but it doesn't appear to go up that far?
Thanks in Advance

How do you two get back and forth to work? DO you take public transportation, or get rides from ppl? I am always curious how someone gets by in life without driving themselves.

I'm not the OP either, but I went through four years of college (in the US) including a semester abroad, without a car. And I worked when I was in the US during that time. I mostly used public transportation (train/subway/bus), with an occasional ride from a friend. If you are in a big city, it can be very expensive to pay for a parking place for your car near your home (if one is even available), and difficult and costly to find parking at a workplace or other places you might go. In cities with good public transportation systems, it is actually pretty easy to get by without a car.
It is often easier in the very large cities to get around without a car.

The Doubletree is a nice hotel that is in walking distance to Universal and you can also check out the Hyatt place universal which is across the street from the Doubletree and I am one of those that never have a car while in Orlando cause its just too expesive to pay to park almost everywhere plus whenever we stay close to Universal we pretty know where most everything is and whats in walking distanceThanks everyone
I stay 10 miles outside of Glasgow, Scotland but even though I moan about it most days it is still pretty good! Sooooo much more cost effective than trying to run a car and pay fuel to drive in and out of the city!
In any event, I'll take a look at the Doubletree - that's a good idea - and look into a taxi from the hotel (that might be a good idea for early mornings when I'll still be half asleep!!)

Thanks mcaraven, I'll need to rack up some more posts so I can post a full URL.
