I know - shudder the thought that I'm even saying such a thing on the DIS, but...
My response on another thread got me thinking about this - and I know that some of you put up more than one tree in your homes.. So - does anyone do a "themed" Christmas tree that is not Disney? Would you mind sharing what it is? (Photos would be nice as well..
)
I've been in Christmas shops where I have seen all sorts of themed Christmas trees and some of them have been simply gorgeous!!
By "themed", I mean all of one kind of decoration on the tree - or one "theme" (like old-fashioned wooden toys or something like that)..
Aside from the ones I mentioned on the other thread, I've seen:
Pink trees - with a darker pink round glass balls, all the same..
Purple trees - with one particular lace ornament, all the same..
Green trees - with small teddy bears..
A white tree - with all candy canes..
Green trees - with the above mentioned old fashioned wooden toys..
Green tree - all kitchen utensil type ornaments on it (smaller - to be set up in a kitchen)..
Green tree - all gingerbread girls and boys..
---------------------------------------------------
That's about all I can remember off the top of my head, but with the lights on and all, they were very, very pretty..
Anyone here do that with their main tree - or maybe other trees you put up in your home?

Every year I swear that I'm going back to artificial (especially when I am trying to string lights!)
