Non Disney Restaurants close to DTD

Heading for the Poly on Sunday. We have decided to stay in a DTD hotel on Saturday night so we can have all day Sunday to hang out at the parks and hotel. Does anyone have any recomendations for non Disney restaurants close to the DTD area. We have 3 kids; ages 9, 5, and 3.

Is there any reason you want to avoid DTD that night? I would jumpstart the fun by going there. Technically not Disney restaurants there are both TREX and Rainforest which your kids might just love and then they can always play in the lego playland as well.

Headed toward Crossroads are a zillion restaurants - Chevy's, Buffalo Wild Wings, a pizza place, Fridays, Sweet Tomatoes, and more. Up the road is Steak n Shake, Chilis, Olive Garden, Ale House....and more.

We aren't trying to avoid DTD, just seeing if there were any other good restaurants in the area with a fun atmosphere. We would love to try TREX, but it is booked for the day.

TREX and RFC take reservations for only a small amount of tables and the rest are available for standby/walk by. I have never ever made a reservation at either of those restaurants and have always been able to be seated. Going at an off time (11:30 am/mid afternoon) will result in shorter waits but if its where you want to eat I would seriously consider doing that.

Even if you are given a wait time you can walk over and play at lego until closer to your time or spend time in their gift shop build a dino thing.

If that is where you want to eat go there - you will get in.

There is Giordano's and Uno closeby. Uno is in the Crossroads Shopping Center along with a few other restaurants. Giordano's has great pizza. You turn left at Crossroads.
