Non-Disney restaurant btwn AK & MK ??

Hi again !!

I was just wondering if there are any good restaurants (non-Disney) on the way to Magic Kingdom from Animal Kingdom ? TIA !!
I'm just trying to figure out if I need to go to a Disney Resort (would need a ps) for dinner or if there are any other places to eat where I wouldn't need a reservation (yes we will have a car, but I would like to keep on path)

McDonalds? For everything else you have to go off property and it wouldn't exactly be on the way. There is a Rainforest at AK which is "non Disney"

Besides Rainforest Cafe at AK, along the way you can stop outside at Crossroads which has several restaurants including Red Lobster. If you plan on eating early enough, most of the time you can get right in. I think there's an Uno's and a couple of others in that same area.

From AK, if you exit the property via Sherberth Road, you are 3 minutes from 192 where you can find a slew of restaurants. Then, instead of going back with Sherberth, take 192 to the Disney World exit which is a more direct route to MK.

We often stop on the way to the Animal Kingdom at Coronada Springs and eat at the Pepper Market. It's a real favorite for my family because you can get as little or as much as you want to eat. It's sometimes a bit slow to gather up your food, but we've always been seated right away. The portions are plenty big enough to share for average eaters.
