Non-Disney registry question

Ok so we want to register for formal china - that way we will always have our wedding china for special occasions. However I have been looking and can't seem to find anything I like. I really want some pink in the design. Has anyone ever heard of having wedding china custom painted? My mom said I could easily have it done in Italy or Portugal - but I really wanted to register for it since we don't really need much of anything else. Also that way it would truely be wedding china. It seems like it would be hard to have it done over there and not have someone in the US for people to contact.

Does anyone have any ideas??

Also can you register at the art of disney store in DTD for specific artwork? or if we opened a disney registry can you put artwork on the list? I was looking yesterday and there are a few gallery wraps and whatnot that I really like.

We registered for Kate Spade's Gwinnett Lane china, which has pink in it.

Kate Spade also makes china that has a solid band of fuchsia around the raised edge of the plate.

Where all have you been looking? There are thousands of china patterns out there - surely some of them will have pink!

As for the Disney Gallery, you might phone them and ask if they do that. There is no Disney Gallery option on the Disney Honeymoon Registry, but of course you can use those funds anywhere that accepts Disney gift cards, so you can still use the registry to buy things at the Gallery.

oOo pretty! I was just at Kate Spade the other day - I wish they had their china in store. I have searched all over the internet and have been to neimans, bloomies, crate and barrel and countless other little boutiquey places. Its kind of funny b/c I would think that the big dept stores would carry the line.

They do have some fun designs though.
