Hoping for a little wisdom from the Camping Crew--
We moved into my neighborhood about 6 months ago. There is a fellow in the neighborhood that fancies himself to be kind of the king of the street. Hey, fine with me, I have a policy of never challanging someone's misplaced feelings of self appointed royalty
.
We tried to be friendly when we first moved in, but he treated us like we were fleas on his dog. We invited him over a few times, and he graced us with his presence, but, he reallly is a jerk (thinks he is a ladies man, lots of sophomoric humor, has to have the last word on everything, etc., etc.).
We already had friends in the neighborhood, and we made some new ones, and like to have get togethers--but the neighbor is always hanging over the fence being obnoxious.
He seems to need attention, positive or negitive, just all eyes on him kind of thing.
The HOA has been on him for his lack of rule following, and he is just leasing (but has been here for a long time), and I am hoping that maybe he will just move along.
But, until then, any thoughts on how to difuse a neighbor that feels it is his right to be included??
