Superman Vs. Batman comes out the Friday before our 4 day magic. It's not a Disney movie ; will it be on the ship? We will have a night or two to see it before we leave.

I don't believe they do first run non-Disney movies. I know that they have shown old non-Disney movies.

OK good, we know we need to make time for it before we go to FLA then.

We will be going on the 4 day dream at the same time (Day After you depart) and had planned on catching that at Downtown Disney on that Sunday before as we will be in town the day before our cruise. Its to bad its not being shown on the ship

I think we are on the same one as we leave Monday 3/28 on the Dream. We are going to FLA on Sunday though and spending the night at the Hyatt.

It would be cool if schedule allowed you to see it the day you disembarked. That would give the kids something to look forward to after the cruise. Understand it's not likely, though.

It get s a bit weird sometimes. For example, this past fall (and perhaps still today), they were showing Bridge of Spies. Even though Disney ha nothing to do with its production and it's not considered a Disney movie, Disney had the distribution rights to it in US theaters, so they were able to show it on board. I've occasionally seen other first-run "non-Disney" movies on board, and they were in a similar situation: not a Disney movie, but Disney distributed it in the US.

Well, if Disney is distributing the film, it's considered a "Disney film" and is shown onboard.

They have teamed up with Turner Classic Movies in the past as well and shown things like the Maltese Falcon and the Wizard of Oz, but those were special sailings. If I see something like that again I'd want to book, my dad's a huge classic movie fan.
