I'm just looking through the hotel prices and such on the WDW website, and I noticed there's two non Disney hotels listed there. It's Clarion Inn and Holiday Inn Main Gate East (Kissimmee), and they're both cheaper than any of the WDW hotels. Does that mean that if you book them through the website that you'll still get the same privileges as when you're staying at a WDW hotel? Like free parking and magic hours?

No, they are "good neighbour hotels" and you don't get the perks of on-site.

These 2 hotels are not even on WDW land, stayed at both, The Clarion is the closest at LBV, The Holiday inn quite a way offsite out towards Kissimmee.
Usually pick up either at around £30/nt.

We stayed at the Clarion Inn a few times for a night or 2 (just to shake the jet lag off before hitting a Disney Resort

It is past crossroads on palm parkway. Needless to say that without a car it's not worth it. It's a good 50 minutes walk to DTD to catch the first disney bus

you don't get DME, you don't get EMH or any other perk

It's a fairly decent place to stay (a bit noisy since it's facing I4). It's got a good location with lots of restaurants at crossroads and it's easy and fast access to the disney property.

but it's an offsite accomodation even if you book through WDTC-UK
