For May 2012 --- Is it possible to dine at Ohanas or Chef Mickeys for dinner and make it back to DHS for Fantasmic!?

All things are possible..however, I would not do O'hana and then expect to make it somewhere else at a specific time. We have eaten there every trip and have never been seated on time and we always spend at least 1.5 hours. This past trip we had a 7:30 reservation and were finally seated at 8:15 and finally got our bill taken care of about 10pm.

This February will be my first trip to Chef Mickey's so I really don't know about this one. I can however tell you that if you are waiting for all of the characters to come to your table we have spent 2 hours at Norway, 1900 Park Faire and Crystal Palace and 1.5 hours at Tusker House for breakfast.

Although it might be possible, I would think it would be pretty stressful. Would you be at DHS at day, then go to dinner, and then back for Fantasmic? If so, I just think it might be better to do one of those on a MK day or even an Epcot day (monorail). Instead, why not walk over or take the boat over to one of the Boardwalk restaurants or Cape May at BC. Actually, even a restaurant at the World Showcase would be easier. In September, we are an early dinner at the Garden Grill and then walked over to DHS for Fantasmic. I think our dinner was at 5:30 or 6 and Fantasmic was at 8:30...we literally sat down 5 minutes before the show started!

I would not chance it.Allow two hours to eat, an hour transportation, an hour waiting in line for the show...For a 6:30 show, you are looking more at lunch! There are some good choices at DHS. We like Mama Melrose and always do the Fantasmic Package there. 50's prime time is also a fun favorite of ours. There is also Sci-Fi and Holly Wood Brown Derby. Hollywood and Vine is not a favorite of ours but if you have kids, it can be a fun choice.
