We stopped by Nomad Lounge during a super hot day at Animal Kingdom in need of air conditioning and refreshment.

I've heard some negative feedback about the decor but I thought it was lovely. The seating was comfortable and made me feel like I was on a swanky lanai or porch somewhere.

My trip to Jellyrolls the previous night and the heat resulted in my not trying any of the cocktails, but we did order the bread service. I had read that this was available but unadvertised, but it was on the menu. It includes three types of bread - our favorite was the papadum. It also has four dipping sauces- we were split on the favorites. I liked the black eyed pea hummus, and my friend preferred the harissa yogurt.

I wish I had felt like eating more, as the ribs looked amazing at my neighbors table.

Definitely stop in if you're looking for a grown ups respite!!

We stopped by there one night in July. Four adults, three children, and we sat outside. It was dead, so the kids got to be a bit more rambunctious than we'd normally allow. We loved it. I don't recall what I drank, just that it was very good. Loved the decor.

We enjoyed our afternoon respite at the Nomad lounge so much a couple weeks ago, that we had to go again same week the night of the DVC anniversary party before it started. We ordered several cocktails, the bread service, beef sliders, and fish tacos. It was a quintessential lounge experience both times and we loved it. As the OP stated, the decor was lovely and I felt it was a luxurious experience. Only downside, I don't know how I will ever be able to ride EE without being a bit tipsy again. Icing on the cake!

I stopped in there around 3:30 or 4 one afternoon a couple of weeks ago and loved it. There was hardly anyone there, I guess a lot of people don't drink mid-afternoon but I hadn't eaten all day and needed to get out of the heat and to put something in my stomach. I had the sliders and a drink and they were both great, the service was exceptional as well. My only complaint is that I'm a small person so couldn't sit back in the chairs since they were sort of deep and the tables were like your coffee table at home so bending over to eat my slider without dropping stuff all over myself was a challenge.

We loved it too and went twice in July. I am hoping to make it back in December.

I stopped in a couple weeks ago around 4 p.m. I was surprised that so many others were there because I'm always reading how no one goes there. Enjoyed my sliders and wine. It was much nicer than the wine at Dawa bar because of the A/C!
