Nokia PC Suite - phone won't connect?

I recently purchased a CA-42 connection cable so I can (or so I thought) connect my Nokia 6019i phone to my computer and use the Nokia PC Suite to upload ringtones to my phone. Well for some reason I can not get PC Suite software to connect my phone. Does anyone have any ideas of what I am doing wrong? Or any adivce? I would appreciate it. I was looking forward to having Fantasmic as my ringtone.
