Noise in cabins above kids clubs?

We are hoping to book our first Disney cruise on the Dream. The staterooms on hold for us are above the kids club areas. Otherwise they are located perfectly. Has anyone had bad experiences with noise in the rooms located above the kids?

NO problems....and the club/lab closes at midnight most nights. The kids are a lot quieter than the adults.

Seriously, at night the Club puts on movies and encourages the kids to lay down on sleep mats if they are sleepy. They're not into really wild things at night. Now the Lab can be a bit louder, but we never heard anything on deck 6!

Bumping up. Good question; I have been wondering the same thing. Can other dis-ers share their experiences being above kid clubs or labs?
:)

We were directly above the Oceaneer's Lab on the Disney Wonder and could hear nothing coming from below us.

I have to say being in the kids clubs with the kids, I have never found them noisy. Activities are always being done, so the kids are not shouting or screaming.

You also don't notice people walking in the cabins above you so there must be some pretty hefty sound barriers between floors.

In all my time onboard we only had one cruise with a woman that complained. She was right above the Lab and complained near-hourly from 6pm most nights. She even complained at the noise when all the children were on the sports deck. She even complained about the noise at 1am on the night the Lab closed at 12am.

Sounds great. I'm sold and I'm booked! Now I can't wait till May.
