This afternoon I got my first filling and first shot of novocaine, ever. It wasn't bad. It went really quick and I think I did pretty well, considering I was totally stressed about the shot in my mouth.
After the dentist I went to the bank, the gas station, the grocery store and picked up some chinese food. When I was at the gas station this guy kept asking me if I needed help and I was soooo annoyed, figuring he didn't think I could do it. I felt like my speech could be a little slurred from the novacaine, so I just kept shaking my head no.
I get to the house and my DH falls on the floor laughing. I have apparently been out in public and drooling for hours. My entire face, neck and front of my sweatshirt are soaking wet! I probably looked like a rabid dog shaking my drool filled face at the gas station.
How long does this last? It seems to be getting more numb.
