Thank you so much!!!
We are a party of 2 so it must work for us....
We probably want to go for the early tour (we have an hour to wake up in the bus anyway).
If we do the early tour then we have enough time left to walk around Cadiz on our own after the tour and still make dinner on time.

Thanks again for the info.

Hi - a little confused as i had sent in our names and photos near the start of the thread but now dont seem to appear anywhere on the website?

What made you choose the company Barcelona Segway Glides??
What do they do different or made you feel more comfertable??

I found these companies and they just all look the same to me, except from some age difference (some even from 10 years and up) and some weight difference (not much around 10 pounds). Also there is some price difference but that is so minor that i don't look at the pricing.

The Glides is the first company to offer Segway tours there. I have no scientific evidence they are any better. Just a hunch & a hope. And a few extra pounds of weight.

I searched posts by you :surfweb: and couldn't find anything else posted on this thread. But here you are, so that's all that matters. :thumbsup2

I would welcome you, but since you were in at the start of the thread, you've got a lot of new people to welcome. :rotfl::rotfl:

If you can put another picture out here for us, I'll add it to the website (click on the http: address below in my signature).

That makes sense to me.
Sometimes you just have to choose and then you have to pick one or the other.....

For anyone who may still be looking for accomodations pre-cruise, the Country Inn & Suites in Cape Canaveral can be had for a bid of $49/night on Priceline.
I know because I just won 2 rooms for the night before the cruise :cool1::cool1:
Total with taxes is $62.10 for the night. Beats any price I've found so far.

Also has anyone here received their airfare arrangements from Disney yet??

Okay need some help with our excursions.

** Gibraltar: We want to do this on our own, or with a group of Dissers sharing a cab or something. We want to see the Rock, Apes and the Tunnels.
Are the Great Siege Tunnels other tunnels then the WWII Tunnels???
I thought that you could only visit the Tunnels when you are on a Disney Tour, is this true??
What is going to be the difference between a DCL: Tour and doing it on our own??

Thanks.

You absolutly do not need DCL to do any of this! The great seige tunnels are the WWII tunnels. They are all the same. We visited the apes, the top of the rock, the caves and the tunnels all with our amazing taxi driver. I may even still have his card. We hired him for the whole day. He was great. Everything was at our pace. He was born in Gibraltar and a wealth of information. Our friends did an excursion through DCL and also liked it. They however were at the mercy of everyone else and the bus schedule. For us we just did what we wanted when we wanted.

My favorite picture! This is not at the top but one of the many places we stopped to take pictures. I love the ape with the Magic in the background.

Caves....does not really show much but they were neat.

The rest of these are all from the tunnels.....

main or late dining I have a 13 year old boy early dining before he meets friends... late dining I never see him
anything you want to share (for blackmail purposes) I spend 1/2 my cruise reading. I got caught reading Hary Potter in a boring comic show and he pointed it out to the intire ship.
any questions you might have When do we go

Nothing wrong with Harry Potter, I plan on getting all the audio books on my itouch so I don't have to tote the books with me.

I posted a link to what the taxis will take you to on a private tour of the rock. The post was 2495.

We just hired him for the day and did what we wanted for as long as we wanted. In some places we stayed longer and others were just there for a minute or two.

Another note is that DCL wants little to no interaction with the Apes. If you hire your own driver they will get you as up close and personal as you would like.

That is a good idea! :thumbsup2 I never seem to have time to read on board but I like that idea!

If you still have his card i think i'm very interested in his name and #.
What did you have to pay for the whole day tour??
Are you sure that the tunnels are the same??? You have been there so you probably are sure...
I ask this because what i can find on the internet is that they aren't the same, because the WWII tunnels are buld during the WWII and then the Seige Tunnels where already there. These are the links i found:

Well we were def at the Great Seige tunnels. I have pictures of that sign. ;) I think that we only visited on set of tunnels but not positive. DH would know better then me. I will ask him later. I will PM you his information when I find his card. I want to say that we paid about $75 for 6 of us for the day. DH would remember that too. ;)

Stephanie, thanks so much for posting your pics. I love to see them! But do you have any idea why sometimes pics (not necessarily yours) come up with the red x in the corner? All yours did this time but when I right click on the x sometimes they come up and sometimes not. I was not able to get the last 3 to come up. This has happened before. I look at the pic of the day thread a lot. Sometimes they have the red x. Then if I check on the computer at work I can see those same pics. I know if we remove or move our pics on our host site it will have the x but do you know another reason? Thanks!

Stephanie, Thanks for posting the Gibraltar pics. We are planning on getting a driver and doing this with the kiddos. I keep forgetting to tell you how incredible your dd is on a TV series. Haven't seen Castle before but will look for it! What great pictures too!

Looks like County Inn and Suites might end up being a mini DIS MEET :)

What a great price. We like staying there and my kids like the breakfast.

Ok, so happily, DH added himself, dd18, dd8 (very close to 9) and dd7 to this cruise. No btb with the MED for them (dh call schedule), but happy to have them on the TA. So, anyone with princesses who wants their girls to hang with other DIS princesses, let me know!

So, please add

Dh-Eric, dd18 Kayti, dd8 Chloe and dd7 Bella to the roll call and FE list :)

Now if I can just get dd20 onboard all will be perfect.

I spend 1/2 my cruise reading. I got caught reading Hary Potter in a boring comic show and he pointed it out to the intire ship

-I hope that wasn't during an Albert & Seymour show! That would have been dangerous. Caution to all - if Albert & Seymour are performing during our cruise ... MAKE SURE YOU DO NOT ARRIVE LATE FOR THE SHOW, and do not leave early. You have been warned!
