CP, oh I know to never ever say "wish I had been there" MIL will probably be pretty mad at me when Marc tells her I can't go to his grammy's 80th birthday party. I actually would like to go to that, I adore his grammy. She is the sweetest lady ever. At all of the family functions, she takes me around and introduces me as her granddaughter and then turns to me and says, "I hope you don't mind dear." So cute! Anyhoo, I can't go because of work, we have conversion weekend coming up as of right now I have to work all day Sunday and be "in the area" in case I am needed on Saturday so I can't travel down to the Cape for the party.

Katie, Oh no! I hate that sinking feeling when you realize what you did about 2 seconds too late!

Hey CP..I saw that you were talking on MeMom's thread about All Star Music. I would pay for a preferred room if I stayed there again. We were quite far away from the Main Building and I wish we had been closer but that is just me. I also saw the screen and the activities around the pool, I bet Chelsea and Connor would love them!

Good Morning Gnomies!

I am once again cheating and dis-ing at work! It has been sooooo quiet and slow for the last couple of days that I don't feel it's much of a big deal. And everything's clean and tidy so I'm not sure of what else to do! I forgot my book....

I hope you all enjoyed your weekends and Katie I hope you survived the nasty weather. It's supposed to be gorgeous here for most of the week and I am hoping to make the most of it. Right now though all I can do is look at the sunshine peeking in through the skylights.

So guess what?! On Friday I got all my D23 stuff! I was so excited! I have the official card and the gift and all, but I am saving the magazine to read on my day off!

LL - family really is something else eh? Just keep a beautiful (perhaps false) smile on your face and everything will be fine. You know you can always come and vent out to us.

Katie - Don't you just hate car keys sometimes?! Still sounds like a nice day though! You have to have some adventure sometimes to keep you on your toes!

C - that does sound like a tempting DVC offer!

Oh, while I'm thinking of it, has anyone put any more thought into where they might be staying during Gnomefest? Or their dates?

I think my dates are going to be April 22 - 26th. I am shooting for 4 nights. Arrive on Thursday, leave on Monday.

Hi my Gnomies!! What up?!

Work sucks. Blech.

Had a nice looooooong day yesterday. Don't know why it seemed so long? Jim and Ebin went fishing at like, 5:30 in the morning. Ebin caught a fishing pole! How funny is that?! They thought it was a big fish but when it finally came in, it was a fly-fishing reel and pole that is quite expensive!

They got home about 11 and had lunch and played video games until Ebin left around 2. Rach and I headed to the beach at about 3 and stayed til 5. Jim played vid games the whole time, I teased him when he got home that he was going to have bed sores.

I made dinner and did laundry and actually hung some up and ended up falling asleep on the bed while I was taking a "break" and Rachael was playing "DreamLife Superstar". Great day overall!

The heat is killing me here, I'm really glad I scrapped that whole idea about hitting up Disney for that 1 day in a couple weeks when we're in Florida. I really hate humidity. Ack.

Katie, that SUCKS about the van! Was your neighbor home today to get the spare?

The thesis needs to get in full gear, I need to catch up and I already know that Blake is going to graduate without me in September, although it won't technically be a graduation, just his diploma, because there isn't another walking ceremony here until May, but it's still bringing me down. I want it to be over with and I'm no where close. Plus, I'm worrying about my job ending next month and covering rent and bills and moving out in September and getting a real job and where I'm moving too. OY, It's a lot, so my time on here will probably be limited, but I'll still be thinking about you all!

The thesis needs to get in full gear, I need to catch up and I already know that Blake is going to graduate without me in September, although it won't technically be a graduation, just his diploma, because there isn't another walking ceremony here until May, but it's still bringing me down. I want it to be over with and I'm no where close. Keep plugging away Jess, you'll get it done! I remember when I realized I was going to miss my target graduation with my thesis. One of my advisors said to me "If getting a master's degree were easy, everyone would have one" That made me feel so much better! We're here when you have the time to join us.

Stace, sorry things are slow at work today. I'm REALLY hoping for 7 nights (wed-wed is my first choice) I will only be able to pull this if the first day is an after work flight and gets me to Disney quite late. I will be taking mostly unpaid days if I get the teaching job or doing extra hours before/after that week if I still have my current job (of course if I have neither job, I'll have to call off the whole thing , let's not go there!) My hope is to stay at CSR if someone will split the cost of the room with me. Otherwise I will probably go with POP.

I'm not sure I told you guys that I am interviewing tomorrow for the teaching job at Greg's school. I know that the room will be full of familiar faces and that is comforting but I am still getting nervous. The head chemistry teacher has pulled herself off the search committee. She went to the principal and told her she could not be objective with me in the candidate pool and that the principal needed to get me hired fast or someone else would. I'll still be nervous until this is over!

Hey girlies!!!! Happy Monday!!!! Tomorrow is ADR Day, so I have been crazy busy trying to prepare myself for what lies ahead!!!! Wish me some extra luck!!!!

Megs gets to go to her Summer camp for her Preschool this week====she is overjoyed!!! She had so much fun today.....can't wait to go back tomorrow!!! I feel like the summer is careening away from me completely out-of-control!!!! I have been so busy lately that everything just feels crazy and chaotic.....I need to find the brakes and SOON!!!!!

Whoooo Hoooo! Ladies I just had a $200 sale!! It's a slow day but that certainly perked up our numbers! Yay!

So we really are going to be quite split up when we head down for Gnomefest huh? I am still hoping for 7 or 8 days, especially since I don't get a trip in this year. Right now I'm thinking I'll stay at the Pop. But I might be up for sharing a room Katie! I'm hoping to get a flight that will get me there fairly early so I can get as much park time in as possible! Did everyone notice that we hit 9 months exactly yesterday?! Yay yay yay!

Totally craptastic day today. Hall of fame worthy. Seriously. Do you ever feel like you just can't do anything right?

And now i've come home to see Delta has changed my flights for Sept and instead of my nice 2.5 hr direct flight it goes through Detroit and becomes a 6-7 hour extravaganza. Getting me there later on Thurs and leaving WDW earlier on the other end. Can they "do" that? Is it grounds for me to cancel and get a refund?

Katie - good luck on your interview! What a compliment from the teacher who recused herself and then said they needed to hire you fast!
