I usually stay up for it. I don't know though, I have to get up earlier tomorrow because I am coming into work early so I won't miss anytime for my doctor's appointment.

BTW, I Loooooooooooooved that house I went to see yesterday. SO cute. And the most charming part was that the back of the lawn has a retaining wall all across the back and a built-in fireplace in the middle of it! It's all overgrown and weed-y and covered in brush, but it would be so fun to work some magic and reveal that!!

Next step: meeting w/CPA to see if we can really do this.

L8r, ladies. After work in a few hours we're having my P's over for dinner & strawberry shortcake and more gifts for Rachael.

Well, it's a good thing we didn't snag those cheap tickets to WDW...Greg got a call that teachers are to report back to work tomorrow. since they don't have any in-service days except for their final day to turn in grades, I suspect this means that kids will not have to make up the 5 missed days but teachers will. By having them come in for the next 4 days, they will only have to add one teacher workday at the end of the year.

New blog post on the DIS Unplugged site. I guess Remy only appears at certain times:

He appears daily at 12:30, 1:40, 2:50, 5:20 PM Monday through Saturday. It does seem to take them about 35-40 minutes to make it around to all the tables. He will be appearing until September 5, 2009.

I'll miss him so those of you who have a chance to see him need to take lots of pics!!

C-I am getting excited about next weekend! My parents are there now and unfortunately have tornado warnings (still thinking about you CP!). I'm really hoping for good weather!
Katie-So glad the kids don't have to make up the days! But BOO to not being able to buy those tickets, I finally saw the Southwest $49 summer special on the tv. Hopefully you can snag something soon!

LL and CP have you watched any of the True Blood series? I've been watching bits of it on youtube. I was trying to figure out who in the heck played Sookie and I finally figured out it was Anna Paquin from Fly Away Home/X-Men. I know the show is supposed to be graphic, I mean HBO series, so obviously..but I really think I may finish the series within the next week!
Have either of you read any of Charlaine Harris' other series??

I broke a toe today. It's not nearly as bad as broken toes I have had in the past but it sure hurts like he**. It's wierd too because I have broken pinky toes in the past (3 times) and this time it's my middle toe so it feels really different.

C, that is awesome news about the swine flu. My mom told me this morning not to freak out so I'm trying to be calm.

One school on the southside of Atlanta closed indefinitely today while they await swine flu results!

But I am going to think positive...

Jackie, that sucks about your weather! I was just watching the weather and they were commenting about how the position of the jet stream is pretty far south right now and it is steering all the systems right toward you. Hang in there!

And this front is just sitting here on top of us and not going anywhere (the same front that gave you bad weather last week). Unbelievable. Everyday this week is forecast for storms.

Trying to think positive, though...

My weekend and yesterday were wonderful! Great weather!! This morning my daughter woke up to her brand new purple and gold Bratz bike and she was SOO HAPPY!! She's 6 this morning and so excited. We brought in cupcakes for her class, she opened new clothes so she could pick her birthday outfit, and she opened 1 of her presents from her Cali Grandma & played some "pet pals" on her Leapster before school. Today she'll get a birthday crown from her teacher, a birthday ribbon and pencil from the office. She's beyond the moon today! So am I .... 6 years ago today I gave birth to the best little girl I could get!

It was very mild today -- most of the bad stuff went through central Georgia. Keep your fingers crossed that the rest of the week proves to be just as mild. I can deal with the rain if I have to.

I have watched the first season. A warning, it's very different from the books. It's still good but very different. For instance, I love Jason in the books, LOVE HIM, but his storylines in the show are completely different. Also, no Bubba. How could they do that?

Stupid weather. Doesn't it know it's stressing out my CP and it needs to STOP.

Any reason you are in a horrible mood? I think part of mine is that I have to go to the doctors. Lately, I get in this funky panic type mood when I have to go. I think it's because I have been so often lately and not had the greatest results.
