Geez, guys! I step away for ONE DAY and all heck breaks loose!
Katie- that is shocking, to say the least. I understand both you AND Greg's feelings right
now but I think the thing to do is just stay positive, stay supportive, and remember everyone
is different. 23 is young, when you're unmarried, however... it was supposed to happen so how
she deals with it will be very important and if she doesn't have people to support her emotionally,
then it will be harder to deal with it in a healthy manner. I think you should just advise
Greg to keep the lines of communication open, and proceed with whatever plans to get together
you had been making!
LL- Thanks for the update w/Nobby! It's good to know where the little booger is!
Jess- That is CRAZY you witnessed that!
I hope also that the woman called her Dr. With elderly
people, a lot of them are on an aspirin therapy. When they fall and hit their heads, they
can indeed easily cause a slow bleed that can result in sudden fatality! Esp. since she
is apparently a cancer pt, she should be checking that out. So sad...
Paula- that was a great point for Katie. Definitely an oppurtunity for Greg and you to show
the kids that Mom and Dad will support you whatever life brings or whatever you do. And I'm sorry
about your Dad. That's really sad.
CP- I love that you got so much done. Not that you wouldn't! I wish I had a 10th of your
go-gettem attitude, girl! I need to drink a cup of "I'm so tired but I think I'll mop the
floor, wash the blinds, weed the garden, and then whip up a batch of cookies before making dinner!"
LL & Jess- I like my MIL, but she also lives about as far away as she possibly could from us-
near Sacramento, CA. It makes the heart grow fonder- definitely!
Alright ladies.... gotta hit the sack. Have my horrible Wednesday to muddle through. Which is
typically around 50 patients and it's ALLLL MEEE! Yay!! OTTFV.
