Nobby's Gnomies... heading to WDW in April 2010

It's Christine!! :woohoo: :yay: :woohoo:

I am so excited!! She's coming through my area on her way to the airport so we are going to meet up for dinner. Yayayayayaya!!

YAY for you and C!! You guys will have so much fun!! I knew the answer already so I didn't want to ruin it for those who were guessing!!! You guys enjoy your dinner and make sure to take pics...Maybe C will have Nobby with her LOL!!!!

So is anyone else loving the D23 website? I love the articles, etc. I haven't had time to look through it. And I love the Walt Disney online museum- I wish I had more time to peruse that as well! I want to be a charter member, dang it! But $75... maybe I'll reward myself w/it for my Mother's Day present.

Just got out of a long meeting and find 2 more pages of chatting this morning.

LL, I'm so jealous you get to meet C tonight! You'll have to post a picture as photos of her seem to be a bit elusive. What are your plans? and BTW I would totally come help you unpack for BBQ polenta and chocolate torte!

I certainly hope C is packed by now! Wish her a great time from us in case she doesn't check in before she leaves

No big weekend plans here. While the boys and I were gone, Greg went into "cleaning" mode. What that means is he moved stuff from one place to another and things that I once knew where they were are now stuffed away somewhere and I have to find them (for example, bills to be paid that were on the kitchen counter are now in a pile somewhere on a bookshelf) OR stuff that was once hidden away are now laying out in my way (like the things once shoved on top of the fridge are on my kitchen counter) :sad2: So now I have to relocate everything

I love my hubby but sometimes he drives me batty with his projects. He tends to get all excited about a project, get almost finished then drops it for something else. 2 summers ago he tore apart our upstairs bathroom. Last summer he got it 99% put back together. It has a piece of drywall ductaped as an access panel for the toilet plumbing and is missing some trimwork.

3 years ago he finally put up trim on our kitchen cupboards, had problem with the miter cuts and it is still missing an 18 inch section.

This week he decided to refinish our fireplace surround, any bets on when it will be back in 1 piece?

Will do, Katie! :thumbsup2

Marc is like that about projects too, luckily for now we don't have any major projects since we are apartment living but he does the whole tear things apart never get it finished thing. I feel your pain!

That sounds like an excellent Mother's Day Present! :thumbsup2 I haven't even really cruised the website.

I never did, I forgot once I got home. I did bring up the site here at work but I don't have any of the music players so I couldn't listen. Sad.

I have to do more packing this weekend. :headache: I also want to finish my Jodi Picoult book and I get to have a dinner out tonight with a very special someone! I am so freaking excited!! :yay:

Nope.

Guess again!

Nope!

Try again!

This is fun!

Friend. I will give you a hint, this will be the first time I am meeting this person in "real" life. :thumbsup2

This is SOOO Jim!! Drives me crazy!! The worst part is the attitude of superiority... like... " I've done all this "cleaning" and you've not helped at all!"

Cleaning? You just made a big mess for me! :lmao:

Oy! That is like Marc. It makes me want to get violent but I refrain. :rolleyes1

Or heaven forbid you ask for help at some point...like do you think you could do the dishes tonight...LOL and the looks I get....but he does vacuum LOL. However we figured out early in our marriage that my husband should never take anything apart because he can never put it back together...we hire out when we need something fixed LOL...its actually least expensive to do it that way!:rotfl:

:lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl: Oh and Marc finally got my headlight fixed....by taking it to the garage. He reported that it took the garage guy less than 2 minutes to fix. Apparently what he was trying to remove didn't need to be removed to fix it. :rotfl2:
