Megs is so adorable in her Minnie outfit.

I'm going to have to remember this tip, a late night ADR. Excellent tip, Jen!
Thanks LL---that dress obviously doesn't fit her anymore, but she SO badly wants another one to replace it before we go back---I'm thinking I am going to have to track one down and make it part of a birthday gift for her!!!
LL--in reference to the late ADR tip, I think it would be a VERY romantical thing to do with Marc next time you guys go!!! We saw a couple of really sweet couples walking hand in hand leisurely down Main Street and I thought it probably was SUCH a romantic way for them to end the night!!!
Hey everybody! And a late "welcome back" to Jen- great tip. I agree. Late night ADR's leave a beautifully peaceful park to walk out of and great picture opps. The stores are also still open so you can shop all alone w/o throngs of people. Truly awesome. As a matter of fact- I vote for a late night ADR during Gnomefest one night. And Jen's experience w/LTT sounds like a perfect candidate- esp. if they bring back the characters!
Thanks for the WELCOME BACK!!!! I am sure MUCH fun was had and discussed in the old thread, but I don't think I have enough time to read all about it and "catch up," so I will just rejoin in on the fun NOW!!!! I think a late ADR at LTT would be PERFECT for Gnomefest---and I am SO hoping the characters are coming back!!!!!
Sounds like a great time was had by all Jen!! Those pictures are amazing!! I'm really hoping to see the Kiss Goodnight in May!!! It's on my list of things to do before I die at Disney!!
We had a WONDERFUL night that night--one of the two BEST nights we have experienced in WDW ever, and they are so close in the running I just can't differentiate between the two---so you can see how GREAT it was!!! I should have told you guys the rest of the story too---although I am sure some of you already know it!!! Since Megs was all dressed up like Minnie and had just come out of a character meeting, she was fully practiced in how the characters pose for pictures. She decided to pretend that she WAS Minnie posing for pictures for all of us in front of the castle, etc., and she even asked for some of us to pose with her like we were meeting the real Minnie like at a meet and greet. Being the good parents we are, we obliged her make-believe. As we started walking down Main St., she said to me, "Mommy, do you think all these people (i.e. the CMs and other guests) are going to stop and ask me for my autograph?" still very deeply in her "pretending to be Minnie mode." Tom and I smiled at each other, and then he ran over to ask one of the CMs if they would join in on the ruse. He picked the best----Matthew---who quickly came running over to her saying, "Minnie, there you are!!!! I've been looking for you ALL night long!" He played along with her seemlessly---pulling out paper for her to "autograph," and then posing for pictures with our "Minnie!" Now, Matthew was no ordinary CM---he is some middle-level executive apparently, so while we were talking after he posed with Megan, he had one of his employees run into the Emporium and pick out one of the larger Minnie dolls to give to Megan. It was SO unreal----and let me just say, our Minnie couldn't POSSIBLY have been any happier!!! That Minnie still holds a place of honor in her bedroom!!! (Funny sidenote: during our June 2008 trip, we actually ran into Matthew again, and he remembered all about our first meeting. He truly is a wonderful CM---he even gave our whole family special FP that we used during our trip.)
