ME TOO!!!! I am struggling with a title......I hope to get it started ASAP!!!

I know how it is to struggle with a title. I really hope you come up with something soon. I was hoping this post would give us a link. Not that I am impatient or anything. :rolleyes1

Well, since you were hoping for a link my lovely LL........................................

Here it is!!!!! Click here!

YAY!!! I'm going to go update again right now!!!

Hey Gnomies...
I had a rotten day...stupid work! One of the girls is turning out to be quite the little schemer (sp?) She convinced our manager to change the schedule so she could have more hours than me (again - but I'm on to her now!) so they changed it together on Friday afternoon last week. I haven't been in since last Friday's morning so did know about a schedule change?! Nope! Sure didn't! So I get a call at 10:40 this morning asking me why the store isn't open!:confused::confused:I'm like, "I don't know, who's supposed to be in?" Apparantly me....This girl has started doing things like this to make me look bad so she will get more hours than I do, but I'm on to her now! And I'd like to say something else - my sales numbers don't lie!:rolleyes1 But it all got taken care of in the end - I called the District manager myself to explain what had happened! That way I know exactly what story was given and who spoke to her.

In other news, my auntie is trying to reunite me with my half-sister who I don't see. My uncle is coming to visit from Arizona and she has arranged this little family party for him...and she's invited her. Apparently my half-sister has never met this uncle and wants to - which is great! I think she should know all the family she can. But it's awkward for us. We're quite far apart in age and I didn't even know about her until I was 13! I met her at our granny's funeral. She never had a relationship with our dad and she really resented him once she met me (I was a big daddy's girl), but now she really wants us to have a relationship. I don't really know what to think. I want to know her and her daughter and all that, but it's weird and there are a lot of feelings that we have about our dad that are completly opposite and weird to approach...I just don't know...the last time I saw her was a couple of years ago at our other aunt's funeral but we didn't speak to each other. Neither of us really know what to say to the other besides hello! OTTV!

In anycase, I have decided to come shopping in your lovely country for the day tomorrow! Whoooo Hoooo retail therapy!

Hope everyone else is having a nice evening! :)

I am so bummed that I forgot about NPH hosting the Tony's I totally meant to watch! :headache:

No worries LL - you can probably find it online somewhere! And he wasn't really on it much. It was more performances this year but it seemed to be more shows that we're familiar with like Mama Mia, West Side Story and Hair.

MM - Congrats on the ticker!! I am super duper jealous!!

Oh, Stace. I can't even imagine dealing with that. Just follow your heart and everything will work out. :grouphug:

Thanks LL, you're a great friend. Did you get everything figured out at work? I know I tend to feel lost even after a few days so I know how you feel! I'm sure you did great :goodvibes

Hugs Stace  Just try to keep an open mind and an open heart and everything will be OK. We know how terrific you are, maybe she's ready to find out too.

Congrats on your ticker Jen (MM)! I knew there was something fishy going on! But I'm so excited for you! I'm heading over to your PTR to check out your details so far!

Stace-What a rotten day at work indeed! Thank goodness you at least found out when you did! And good for you for reporting it! Hope everything works out with your half sister!:flower3:

MM...Congrats on the ticker and the upcoming trip I'm so excited for you!!!

Stace...I'm sorry for the rough day, I'm glad to hear you have gotten things worked out and I hope you will continue to get them worked out!!

Stacy- what a yucky day! What's up with the girl at work? I'm glad you're on to her now! on the family issues. Just do the best you can and I'm sure it'll all work out. We're here for you!

Tonight is CP's Brown Derby night. I'm having such fun living vicariously! But I will tell you that oddly enough I'm a little nervous about them liking it.

Good morning, my gnomies!

Where's Jen? Oh yea- on that thingee.....?h Yea, I have a mind for details.. what can I tell ya?

Stacey- that SO SUCKS about that girl at work. What a little schemer! And as for your 1/2 sister- that's a tough one but you know what- you're a great person with a good friendly heart and if you guys can move past that stuff that wasn't either of your's faults- than I'm sure you could have a great relationship! I hope it all works out.

My baby girl came home last night! I missed her so much. Although I had to giggle to myself when I picked her up because she talked the entire time and I'd had such silence for 3 days!!!!

Tuesdays at work are terrible so I doubt I'll get to check in much.

C'y'all l8r!

I did, it wasn't as rough as I thought it was going to be. My boss is out today so that is every better! :lmao:

I am nervous about them liking it too after I have talked about how wonderful it is! :rotfl2:

Good Morning Gnomies!

I slept horribly last night, so bad that I didn't fall asleep until about 1AM. Then I got up took my shower and went back to bed for 30 minutes. I'm exhausted.

So I have been thinking about going back to school recently for Medical Assisting or something like that. I'm driving into work today and I drive past the building that is diagonal across the street from my work and there is a big banner that says MEDICAL AND DENTAL ASSISTING. I crane my neck so I can read what the company is called and sure enough I google them and they offer Medical Assisting! It's so funny because I just brought it up to Marc this weekend and I have never ever noticed it before. I wonder how long it's been there. I am going to request information. I don't think I'd want to start for a few months. But classes start in January, April, July and October so it's something think about. :thumbsup2

Sorry about a crappy night sleep LL. But that is very exciting about you possibly going back to school.

I debated going to work or staying home today. I have a FEW things that I need to do at work but for the most part, I don't have enough to do to fill a day. I know that sound terrible.

I hope you have a good day, Katie!

I just wanted to say Happy Birthday to Johnny Depp today! He's 46, can you believe that? He is mighty fine looking! :rolleyes1 :cloud9:

I'm an M.A., LL! It's interesting work... If you want to get into a medical field though, I'd strongly suggest pursuing an LPN rather than an M.A. degree. It's the same length of program (2 years- at least here in Illinois) and the pay is much better for an LPN, rather then an M.A. And if you consider the dental assisting- I'd suggest looking into Dental Hygenist instead. Dental assisting is rather hard to get into- as those types of programs (same as M.A. programs) crank out graduates at a faster rate then there are job openings.

On a side note though- my co-worker and I googled job availability in the Orlando area and there was a TON! LOL.

Thanks for the advice, Julez. I look into LPN to see what they have around here.

:rotfl: to the job availability in Florida. I think Marc & I have made the decision that once our debt is paid off (at the current pace it's approx. 4 1/2 years :headache:) that we will move. I honestly want to move back to Maine....I can't see me gettting Marc to move down south no matter how much I want too. I can live with Maine though, anything that gets me out of Massachusetts is A-OK with me! :thumbsup2

Maine would be ok w/me too because I've never been there and it would give me an excuse someday!
