I posted this earlier. Then I thought, since the boys are teenagers now, would it be fewer points to rent 2 studios?

It would probably be about the same for two studios as one one-bedroom. But there is no guarantee that they would be close to each other and each room would have to have an adult staying in the room. 13 and 16 couldn't stay alone in a studio.

Thanks for all of the replies. These 2 are the youngest of 5 and now that they are the only 2 left at home, I see no reason to make them sleep in the same bed like they have had to do so many times in the past. The older one is 6' 3 and needs some room.

We are using an RCI exchange (our 3 bedroom for a 1 bedroom) so adding points is not an option. I already called about adding a studio, but the very nice CM said no availability.

I think the idea about ordering from Target is a good one.

Air mattresses can be more comfy than the couch. I like the idea of ordering mattresses also, just so they are thier in time. We do take mattresses just in case.

If you do take an air mattress, remember to bring sheets. DVC is not supposed to provide sheets for your extra beds.
