No villa

I am so cross and frustrated. The villa we had 'booked' for new trip next August we have just found out has been double booked - and not in our favour

We've stayed in this villa before - at Eagle Point - and it is lovely. It was pefect for us since we are travelling with our friends and this villa has 4 bedrooms - 2 masters for the adults and the other two bedrooms for the kids.

So it's back to the drawing board

I could scream, cry - and feel like thumping someone! I'm going to bed to calm down . . .

Oh no Annie, Hope you find something else soon. I don't know much about Villa's to help you, If it was hotel rooms no problem but going in a condo for 1st time at Easter so no experience.

Oh no poor you. Thats terrible. Have a word with Johnny Sharpe he has lots of experience with villas. He has recommended a few sites and places to me. We havent taken him on it yet, as we bought the DVC instead.

Sorry to hear about your predicament but as as everyone else is saying it will all work out in the end as there are plenty to choose from.

My wife and I have stayed in villas for the past 4 years and have booked them through villas2000.com and have stayed out on HWY27 on 3 occasions and last year down at Crescent Lakes on South Poinciana Boulevard. It was a bit far out but most have a lake view and some overlook a conservation area.

I usually trawl through the various websites, check availability, location etc look on mapquest and google earth and when I find something suitable ask my wife !

I hope you find something that is suitable.

I've calmed down now - like you say, perhaps it means something better will come along - although I doubt cheaper since we were offered this villa at a fabulous price of only £600 for the 10 nights. We've used the villa before so they let us have it with a great discount (usually £625 per week).

I will be sitting down this weekend and trawling - our friends are being great about it. I think this has what's pee'd me off more than anything - you highly recommend somewhere, think you're all sorted, everyone was really happy and bang

Just had a quick look at VRBO.com, 4 bed in the same area look to be anything from about £400/week with availabilty for August so hope you find 1 you like.
