While reading the Wall Street Journal from a week ago Friday (I am a week behind due to our cruise), I found yet another example of lax fact-finding. They had an article about a study of whether cruise lines are vegetarian-friendly. The ones listed as NOT being good for vegetarians were Crystal, some riverboat line, and Disney. Supposedly you have to arrange for vegetarian entrees ahead of time on DCL...that would surprise my hubby, who is totally addicted to their veggie dishes. Normally he is a meat and potatoes kind of guy, but after trying them on one trip to review for our website, he feel in love with several of them. And they have been changed and expanded in the new menus. The WSJ did say that the info. had been obtained via telephone...you'd think they'd be a little better on checking their facts. Oh well, maybe they were only referring to "Trident's Restaurant," which was mentioned recently in the Orlando Sentinel (apparently another bastion of impeccable fact-checking). These are just a few more reasons I don't believe everything I read!
