FRIDAY NOVEMBER 4, 2011

When I left off, I was back in my room with my milk in hand to drink for breakfast and with my chocolate cake from dinner but do you think I could remember the spoon...

NO!

Livid at that point, I decided instead of walking back over, I'd break my rule again of not using my car! I drove over and got the spoon + a cinnamon roll. I also paid for a banana to eat with breakfast too.

Finally, I was set with my milk, spoon, and breakfast!

I decided to head to hot tub before bed!

When I got back from the hot tub, I searched for hidden mickeys!

I took pics of my new mug!!!

I think I was in bed by 11 or 11:30 but I had trouble sleeping..oh well!


SATURDAY NOVEMBER 5, 2011

The alarm went off at 6:30am which seemed really early for my day off but I was ready for a Disney day and ready to meet Danielle!!!!

I got showered and ate my breakfast.

I got ready and once again broke my rule and used my car again!

Since DHS had am EMH, I went there! I headed in just after 8am and got a FP for TSM!

After I secured one FP, I had to wait till 9:45am for my next one so I decided to do some rides alone to kill some time!

After my three rides, I decided to take a walk through the Streets of America!

After my walk I hit another ride.

Finally, it was time for another FP!

After I got the 2nd FP for 3pm, I decided to head back to CSR and relax at the pool/hot tub till Danielle arrived!


I was starting to get hungry so I decided to pay OOP and get the cheese fries from the pool bar. I think they were less than $4 and were really good!

Finally, I got my text from Danielle saying that she was on her way from MCO so I quickly changed, got in my car AGAIN and headed over to CBR!!!!

Sigh. All of these pictures of the Christmas stuff is making me wish I was going in December. Hopefully next year...the castle lighting show is so cute.

"THE ONE WITH HALF A MATTRESS!!!!"

HAPPY TUESDAY DIS FRIENDS!!!

I hope everyone is having a blast getting ready for the holiday!

I had to go to the dentist today and found out that I have a ton of mini cavities in between my teeth which will be fixed over Xmas break..grr!!! Even though I haven't had insurance (and still don't), I should have gone at least once a year in the past almost 3 years..lesson learned!!

I ended up calling Disney today bc we haven't gotten our MYW package vouchers/luggage tags but I was told that they were printed on the 4th and should arrive any day now! We're finalizing plans for that trip and I'll be doing a PTR on it after this TR!

SATURDAY NOVEMBER 5, 2011

When I left off, I was enjoying some pool time at CSR and was heading to CBR to meet up with Danielle!!!

When I got there, I waited outside and shortly after she arrived!

(no meet pic! ugh!)

We walked into check-in and although she had tried her hardest to get out of the pirate room that she reserved she was stuck with it, for at lease the night!

We drove off to find the room and discovered that the mattress indeed was literally half a mattress!!! Danielle said it wasn't so bad but still, you'd think at a moderate they would provide a full mattress...cheap!

We decided to eat at the food court for lunch!

I also got a smart water to keep and used my mug for some pop.

After lunch, we headed to DHS to use the TSM FP that I got earlier that day. Before the 3:00pm pass we went on ToT!!

Then hit our FP!

After our ride, we decided that the park had gotten busy and we would head out and relax before 3am EMH at MK!!

I took the tram/car to CSR and Danielle took the bus to CBR..she beat me lol.

At 6pm, we both headed out for MK. She beat me again..darn CSR buses!!

We decided to eat at CHH and we both had the salmon which was really good but not as filling as a burger..I even ate my dessert!

I was super glad I had decided to stay on property and got the DDP! I wish WDW offered a daily DDP like Universal does for $20..maybe some day!

After dinner we caught the parade, castle show, and fireworks!

I demanded a ride on Dumbo since I NEVER ride it!

I think we left well before 1am but I did make a stop into the bakery to pick up my dinner!

When I got back I headed right to bed but woke up to a mess of a room!!!!

HOW MANY BAGS CAN YOU HAVE FOR ONE WEEKEND???

HAPPY THANKSGIVING DIS FRIENDS!!!!

My parent's house is smelling wonderful and we're ready to eat..just the 3 of us and we will be dining via sweatpants/sweatshirts. Yes, we are having a very informal meal today lol. My dad starting getting sick today and mom and I have been slaving away in the kitchen! We will be going shopping starting at 10pm at Walmart and we'll see what other trouble we can get into! We have a family for the Giving Tree at my Dad's work and they are 7 (girl) and 8 (boy) so we're off to hunt as many deals for them so they can get tons more! I can't believe I'll be back in FL on Sat night but I'll be back in 4'ish weeks and it will go quick! I have to finish this TR so I can do my MVMCP review and PTR for our Dec stay!!

SUNDAY NOVEMBER 6, 2011

Since Danielle and I didn't stay at MK till 3am we did get more sleep which was good!

When I got up my sadness was on my door!

I got ready and ate my breakfast which I grabbed the night before at MK bakery.

I then started to tackle the disaster of my room!

For a weekend..not even 3 whole days, I had like 4 bags!! Danielle came for a week and only had two...I need to work on that lol.

I took some last room view pics and began to haul all my things to the car!

By 9am, I pulled into AK and Danielle arrived via bus!

She beat me again..I'm losing my OCD park arrival touch...I need to work on that too haha.

We went right to EE!!

And then..

I insisted that we go on Safari so we headed that way! The line looked super long but it went pretty quickly!

I was upset that I didn't see Jabali (newest baby elephant) and let my friend B know that I didn't see him and she insisted he was out on safari but was obviously hiding!!

I never take Safari pics anymore but I did snap a few.

On our way out, we stopped to see FOTLK!

I'm pretty sure I know most if not all of the dance moves of this show lol. I still love seeing it...Is it sad when you know who the good singers are when when the bad ones are performing?! lol.

After the show we were hungry so we decided on lunch!

Danielle went to Rest. in Dinoland and I headed to Yak and Yeti but brought my food to her!

Mine was very good as usual and Danielle's looked good too! She had a veggie sandwich with sweet potato fries!

After our meal we decided to catch the Tough Bug show and then headed out.

I still had a snack credit to use up so I got an ice cream on the way out!



FINAL THOUGHTS

Overall, it was a great weekend! I can't say that there were any bumps along the way except it did get a tad chilly that weekend but it did warm up to the 80s again by Monday (good for Danielle!)

All of the food locations were great and the parks weren't too busy!

It was great meeting another Diser and reminiscing about old trips as kids. We definitely had a lot in common!

Can't wait to see/hang out with Danielle again when she comes over New Years!!!!

Hahaha, I think it's funny that I beat you to the parks each time. Normally that doesn't happen. Not that I'm running late, but I guess I'm just so used to having Jason along who is a slowpoke for sure.

Holy insane amount of bags Batman! Listen, I was super proud of myself that I was able to succeed with the bags that I did. It definitely taught me a lot about myself. Call it a lesson learned....

I had such a great time meeting you and chatting about our common likes. I'm looking forward to seeing you for New Years.

Yes they do have bad singers haha. They are only contacted to do 3 shows a day so there are a ton of CMs and you wouldn't realize that unless you worked there I'm going to MVMCP on Friday the 16th. I have friends going on Sun 4th but I can't afford to go because of my roommate leaving, xmas, and possibly getting a new car in the upcoming weeks.

To make the chapter links you have to:

Click on the number of the post in the right hand corner. It will open just that page in a new page.

You need to right click-copy the www.disboards thread...

When you go to your first page there will be a Globe icon near where the font, size, etc is located but you have to click Advanced Options.

Once you click on the globe a box will pop up for you to Right Click/Paste and then click okay.

It will highlight it and that is where you can type your title, add color, font, size, etc.

I don't think there's a standard format for TRs. I start out with a brief history of myself/trip/recap of resort/travel/etc. I like to put the date when I do my updates of the day that I'm reviewing. Let me know if you need more help!

MVMCP REVIEW!!!! CASTLE LIGHTING!!!

Here's the MVMCP Review!!

I went with my AK friend B and her bf David. Tickets were $40 each (CM Discount price).

Driving in!

We both ended up parking at Contemporary and walking over to MK. This was great and so easy to leave at the end of the night!

I arrived right at 6 which was perfect timing for the castle lighting!

I LOVE THOSE LIGHTS!!!!!!!

MVMCP REVIEW: CASTLE SHOW!!!

After we saw the Castle Lighting, we decided to roam the gift shops! I was wanting some merchandise for Xmas and myself so I was on the hunt for a gift card so that I could use B's discount!

I love the Xmas Merchandise but they are still selling the same things as when I was a CM in 2008 so it's not as thrilling anymore!

After roaming gift shops, we decided to catch the first castle show of the party and got great spots in the front!

After the show we went off in search of Holiday Treats and found some in Adventureland!!

It was still in the low 80s/high 70s so the hot chocolate was kind of a waste. They also didn't serve the sugar cookies but they are Snickerdoodles now. They still serve apple juice and apples. The cups and napkins didn't say MVMCP this year...cost cutting measures I'm sure!

After 3 stations of treats we went in search of Characters!!!!!

MCMCP: CHARACTERS + HOLIDAY WISHES!!!

When I left off, we had grabbed some sweet treats and decided to head to find some characters!!

The Mickey/Minnie line had a 5 min wait but we walked in without a wait!

We then decided to check out the princess line which said 15 mins and took about a 1/2 hour to get through all of it.

I NEVER wait for characters so this was a huge deal..I guess it's not so bad afterall lol.

We headed back towards the castle to prepare for MMAY and Holiday Wishes!

After Holiday Wishes we were on a mission to find a parade spot!!

We decided to get a snack before we found a spot. I think we've started a tradition now! The Snowmen came home with us as well as a souvenir holiday mug! The snowman was $12 and the mug with drink was $5.

MVMCP REVIEW: ONCE UPON A CHRISTMASTIME PARADE!!!!

HI Dis Friends

I hope everyone is having a good weekend. I'm counting down the hours until my BFF from high school, her hubby, and DD6 arrive!!!

I was 100% sure I wasn't going to MVMCP with them tomorrow and then changed my mind lol. I was able to get the AP discount ($56) and figured if I stay till 11, it will still be worth it. I never get to go with children so this will be a fun experience for once!

I was able to get my Free AP calendar at AK today and the park was PACKED! I'm sure a lot of it was because of the calendars because the line for it was huge! I'll take pics at a later date!

I'll still be doing a PTR for my family trip on the 15-20 but it probably won't be till next Sat or Sun since my friends are in town, I have xmas shopping to finish, and tons of work events!

NOW FOR THE PARADE REVIEW!!!


We decided to stand near Pecos Bills for the parade and it ended up being a great spot. We were pretty much in the same location as in Oct.

Overall, I was happy with my parade pics which is good because the next two parties I go to, I'll just relax and perhaps put the camera away...maybe.
