Have fun! I have decided that when we go we are going to upgrade to annual passes also. My reasoning (in my head lol) is that I didn't get to meet Captain Jack and only had two things from the food and wine so I need a do over for the MNSSHP and F & W. Can't wait to move to Florida so I can go on a whim and check out Christmas lights like you !

Are they selling those red Minnie ears again this year? I bought mine in 2009 and then I brought them with me last year, and so many people asked me where I got them, because I don't think they had them last year! I love those ears, they're definitely my favorite!

HI DIS FRIENDS!!!! So sorry for my lack uof updates or answering questions/comments!

I'll be back sometime this weekend with some updates but first of all...I had a blast with Danielle last weekend! It was nice going to Disney with another Disney fan and not having a huge schedule of events! We even met up on Monday for dinner at Earl before she went to MCO to fetch her brother!

I went to MVMCP on Wed and also had a blast! The weather was perfect and it wasn't too busy..the way those parties should be!

Sadly..I woke up on Thursday with severe congestion and a for sure sinus infection..again. I stuck it out through the day but faded quickly! I had about 5.5 hours of sleep which probably didn't help!

I stopped at the dr. on the way home and was seen right away. I was told that the Amox I was on back in Oct should have never been given and the $45 one that was written first wouldn't have helped either. I'm on Augmentin (sp?) now and a nasal spray which I'm told will help with my allergies too. I'm hoping this will knock it out but if not, I'll go to my MD in Cincinnati when I'm home next week!

I'm starting to see a pattern, please tell me if I'm crazy! In June after our week trip to WDW, I got sick with a sinus infection. In Sept/Oct trip with my parents here, I got sick with a sinus infection, and now this past weekend although it didn't show till Thursday, I get sick with a sinus infection! I'm starting to think what the hey is going on?! Is it because of lack of sleep? AC unit in the resort room? I just don't get it?!

I had plans of going to AK to see the parade today followed by DHS to see the lights and Epcot with Danielle and her bro but I didn't get out of bed except to run to Target to get a vaporizer and Bob Evans for take-out. I'm going to try tomorrow as it's Livy's birthday and BBB appointment but as of right now it's looking rather grim

On a happy note, at least I wasn't sick last weekend with Danielle and I have a 3 day weekend to recover before I get on the plane to fly home next week! I don't think it got above 63 degrees today so it wasn't a total loss! I even turned on our heat just to make sure it even worked...it does!

It's awesome to do!! I've been itching to see the lights and AK parade but sickness had to take over so I'm hoping to be better by Sunday to check it out then!

My parents haven't gotten their MM either (as far as I know?) I want to say it took a cycle or two before I got mine..or you could call? Have you gotten the welcome letter with Mickey sketch yet? I'm not sure if they are doing that for AP holders or not anymore??

Love the Minnie ears! I have the older ones with the "santa had between them" and they were heavy and not so great in the rain!

Glad you had a fun weekend with Danielle and sorry that you are sick again! I'm sure it's just a coincidence that you seem to get sick each time you stay at Disney! I hope, anyway! Do you disinfect the room before you touch anything? I wipe everything down with Clorox wipes. I know it's a little neurotic, but I'm not taking any chances! I mean, how often do you think the remote to the TV gets wiped off? Not much, I'm sure!

I use if faithfully a few times a week and it has changed my life. I used to be down all the time with infections and I saw it when Dr Oz had one on Oprah one day and I thought what do I have to lose? It only cost about $20 so much cheaper than a prescription

I don't disinfect..just the drawers. I'm thinking I'll have to do that next time! We always tend to keep the room cooler than we ever would at home due to costs so I'm sure that doesn't help either!

Hi Dis Friends!!

I hope everyone has had a good weekend! Due to my sickness, my long weekend didn't turn out as planned..I didn't get to see DHS lights or AK xmas parade but I did go to MK to see Livy at BBB and did some shopping at Epcot today!

They were testing out a new ticket/entrance system at Epcot. I was sooo confused as it was super busy anyways but it seemed pretty cool. You swipe you ticket and do your finger print and it will light yellow in a circle and then green to let you in. We'll see!!

Now for the TR!!!!

FRIDAY NOV 4, 2011

Friday was a typical Friday at school. I was anxious for the day to be over and to head to WDW!!

I got a text early in the day from my friend D at CSR who said my upgrade would be completed by mid afternoon...

UPGRADE??!! WHAT UPGRADE??? I was staying at POP...

..NOT ANYMORE!!!

By 3pm, she texted to say that everything was set and I was ready to go!

I ended up leaving work at 4 instead of 4:30 and headed to CSR to check in!!!!

I got to the front desk, gave my name, and everything was correct..
-2 nights
-1 adult
-qs ddp
-waterview...waterview?? Okay..a true upgrade indeed!!!

I gave my credit card, got my package + room key and was off to my favorite building, 8A!!!

I inspected the room for little critters and it was clean! I wiped out the dresser drawers and began to unpack!

And then I noticed this little beauty...

I was so upset that I didn't have my laptop or Ipad with me to try it for free!!! I did try it on my phone which then messed up my internet on my phone when it turned it off and my 3G back on but after a reset it was as good as new!

After I unpacked, jumped in the hot tub, and got a drink at the pool snack bar, I had a great debate...

-Head to MK for Castle lights and dinner at MK

or

-Stay at CSR, relax, and eat at Pepper Market.

I decided that I would head to MK. I love the food at Pepper Market but didn't have cash on me for the tip, didn't want to take food to go, and didn't really want to put a $2 on room charge lol.

Room Views:

As I walked to a bus I saw MK pulling away..no big deal, another would come!

...20 mins later!!!!

I thought I would miss castle lights but then I realized the time hadn't changed and they would probably be at 7:15, not 6:15..I was right!!

I was determined to not use my car all weekend..not once..not at all!!!

After a short bus ride, we were there!!!

NOW...WHERE TO EAT DINNER????!!!!!!

Gorgeous resort pics hon...just beautiful! Whenever we stay at the All Stars we drive by CSR and Jasmine and I have often said "we need to stay there one of these trips"!

I don't have a link hon (I am so not techy) but I just went into a health food store and they had them there!!! I almost drown myself the first time I used it but soon learned how to do it properly! Most people get grossed out by it, but for people like us who suffer from the whole sinus yuckiness, it's a god-send!

HI DIS FRIENDS!!!!

I want to apologize for being MIA the past few days/weeks! Things have been crazy at work this week! I have a friend in town so I haven't been home too often the past few nights!

At this point, I'm not going to get another update out until I get home this weekend! I debated about just taking my Ipad but decided to take my laptop too!

When it rains it pours..my roommate just told me that she's moving home as early as next week which was a lot sooner than Jan like she had said! I'm glad she is going to pay out the lease and possibly let me buy her couch leaving me to only have to furnish a TV/Stand in the living room. It's not ideal but I'll figure it out!

I'll be back in a few days to update!!!!

I love the MK lights I had a blast at DHS last night with the lights, low crowds, and it was about 75 degrees..PERFECT WEATHER!

CINDERELLA'S HOLIDAY WISH

HI DIS FRIENDS!!!

I hope everyone is having a good weekend. I'm currently freezing, sitting at my parent's house, and listening to Holiday Wishes!! I did make it safely from Orlando to Cincinnati last night and I'm glad to be home but miss the weather already...

In some news...

~My roommate as decided to move home so sadly she will be leaving Monday but will be back sometime in Dec to collect all of her large furniture but thankfully she is selling her pull-out couch, TV, TV stand, and end table for $250 total!! Unless someone calls me out of the blue needing a place to live, I'll be alone! She has agreed to pay out the lease till June which is good too!

~They finally announced the last CLP performer for our Dec dates..CHITA RIVERA!!! We saw her in 2009 when she replaced Vanessa Williams and we loved her!!!

~After I finish this TR, I'll be starting the PTR for Dec followed by my review of MVMCP and DHS lights!!

~Since I'm home till the 26th for vacation, I'll probably be doing a ton of updates so if you miss any, use the chapters on page one!!!


FRIDAY NOVEMBER 4, 2011

When I left off, I was hitching a bus to MK to check out the Xmas lights (first night of them!) and grabbing dinner. When I got there I was in heaven!!

I had forgotten the time hadn't changed yet so instead of the lights starting at 6:15, they started at 7:15 so I had plenty of time to grab dinner!

Since Danielle and I were eating at CHH the following day, I had to chose another option..Caseys was busy, I've eaten at CR's a lot recently, so I ended up choosing Pecos Bills!!!

It looks like a ton of food and took the cake to go! I quickly found that for some reason on QS DDP I'm not as full as when you do TS DDP. Everything was good and I believe the total was over $15.

After dinner, I made my way back to the castle!

After the show, I decided to head out since I would be up early and in bed late for the next day!

When I got back to CSR it was pretty cold and I knew that the temps would be even colder in the morning when I went to DHS so I broke my rule..."I WON'T USE MY CAR ALL WEEKEND!!!". Yep..

I ended up driving home to my Apt. Thankfully CSR is on the AK side of property which is where my apt is near so it wasn't too bad. I stopped and got some pants and hoodie. I even stopped and filled my car with gas on the way back lol.

When I got back to the room, I decided to walk over to Cafe Rix to get some milk and a spoon for my cake!

I got to Cafe Rix and saw that a mini milk was $2.50 or so..ya right! I ended up getting a quart of milk in the gift shop instead...

BUT DID I REMEMBER THE SPOON???!!!!!!
