Thank you all for the good luck and for sharing your experiences with federal jury duty. I hope I am as lucky!!!! A federal prosecutor friend of my husband's did say December is the best month because a lot of judges go on vacation then. Still, trying not to get my hopes up. The commute will not be fun, and the hours probably coincide with rush hours. Plus finding parking during the day is typically a chore downtown. I wish we had a rail system from the suburbs into downtown. That would be amazeballs, but we cannot even keep our roads in decent shape here.

I just got a jury summons for December for our county court. I am not looking forward to it as it is the week before Christmas. Thankfully DH said he would drive me downtown.

This month has been unusually busy at work an I haven't been on here much. I have been walking but not every day. As the month has gone on my walks have been going up in time. I am just going to add my time as a whole rather than separate them by date since we are so far into the month.

My total so far for the month is 263/300

Disney has pledged $5 million (and the aid of the Imagineers) in rebuilding a park in Altadena that was destroyed in the devastating LA-area fires earlier this year. It is expected to open next year.

I thought I posted but it seems that I did not! November is crazy month for me so I'm not surprised. Everyone in my house except for me has November birthday and we travel for Thanksgiving.

I have 15 minutes from Friday evening on the walking pad. I mopped and vacuumed and went to Hobby Lobby today. I got sweatier doing all that than any workout I've done in months, but I won't count any minutes for it.

Earlier this month, WDW announced the performers for EPCOT Disney on Broadway during the Festival of the Arts. That prompted me to see how many shows Disney currently has on Broadway. Can you guess?

Spoiler: Broadway Shows

It looks like there are two on Broadway--Aladdin and The Lion King. Beauty & the Beast is on a U.S. tour. There also are two in London--The Lion King and Hercules. And Mary Poppins is on tour in the U.K. and Ireland.

40 minutes lifting on my own. Went in with no plan so I'm kind of surprised I remembered enough exercises to fill the time. Btw allergy update: some genius decided my favorite blend of tea needed the one artificial sweetener that gives me hives. so yay for solving the myself but Boo! to Yogi tea for changing the recipe after years.

+62 minutes run/walking. I've been toying with going back to being a long distance runner, so I decided to see what I could do. My 5K time is higher than it was (not shocking) but I'm surprised that I could go for a little more than an hour before anything ached. Got our tickets to see Zootopia 2 this week, super excited!

I just got a jury summons for December for our county court. I am not looking forward to it as it is the week before Christmas. Thankfully DH said he would drive me downtown.

Sorry to hear that. Hopefully there won't be many cases happening since it is a holiday month. The calendar for mine started with about 20 possibilities and has whittled down to 5 now. The first two are doozies, though. One is a 2 week trial, and the other is 4 weeks. Both deal with subject matter I really, really don't want to sit through. I also worry the 4 week case might sequester the jury. I have to start calling in daily on Friday to see if I have to appear. Really makes it hard to plan the month, and it is stressing all of us out - especially my husband who is supposed to be out of town for work a few times in December and relies on me to handle things here. I was hoping he could drive me, too, so I wouldn't have to worry about parking, but that doesn't seem like it's going to work out. If I get put on a big case, the huge problem will be the horses. Particularly one that needs several meds each day. I'm not at a full service barn, so about 95% of their care comes from me. It is very expensive to pay someone to take over, too. I budget that in for vacation, but paying someone for an entire month would be very costly. Hopefully I don't get put on that one! If I do and end up sequestered, I guess we'll be having our holidays in January. Wishing you good luck!!! Hope you don't get chosen and if you do, you have a very short trial!

I saw that and was like of all the years to not attend this festival!!!! If any of you are going when Susan Egan and James Monroe Iglehart are performing, you need to add this to your must do list. They are incredible, iconic performers. Buy the dining package to make sure you get a seat. It will be worth it!
