Am I missing something, or is there no Super Grover deal this Year?

I have been unable to find anything, either.

We had originally planned to buy the SG passes on BF with the discount, but then opted to go with Discovery Cove admission instead (which will give us our tickets to SW & AQ). Glad we did now that the SG passes seem to be excluded from their BF promotions.

Sucks. Was waiting for this too.

So far in general BF/CM deals have been very unspectacular this year across the board.

Have done this deal for like 4 yes straight. Logged on with credit card in hand and NADA. Came here to see what the deal is! I am emailing them my disappointment and letting them know I will not longer be season pass member after 4 years .... perhaps if enough of us join in it will have them think twice?

I ended up buying san diego platinum passes on EZ pay for 2 years. At SW Orlando they wouldnt let me do EZ pay on any passes even though I had active Busch Gardens & a SW Orlando one for the last 3 years on EZ pay. I couldnt upgrade it add 2 more or anything because of my CDN residence. So I was able to purchase the SW San Diego one EZ pay for 2 years. They shipped them activated too me. I had them in 6 days. So it worked for me. We are going in Dec and March to Florida and will be heading to Cali in Feb 2015.

I'm disappointed there is no Super Grover deal also. So much for season passes to Sesame Place this year like I planned. Guess we will just get the 1 week Seaworld pass for when we are down there this spring.

Just saw on Sesame Place's facebook page someone posted:

"Are you going to offer discounted season passes soon?"

The response from SP was:
"Season Passes are not on sale yet. Please sign up to receive email to be notified when the sale begins."

That sounds promising! Wonder if they are waiting till after xmas so you have to pay to go to the "A Very Furry Christmas" this year?

Did you have to ask for them to be sent activated? I was told that this could not be done...

Yes and I have called SW Orlando too. And they confirmed they were activated after I received them.

Just realized one more down side to the SanDiego Passes, the discounts are not valid in Orlando...Guess I will have to suck it up and pay for the passes in full instead of EZPay. I still do not understand why Florida is the only state you can't use EZpay if you are out of state resident....

If it makes you feel any better, SW Parks & Recreation have excluded Canadians (and all other non-US residents) from both the $50 weekday ticket offer and the Discovery Cove early booking discount.

I love SW dearly, but lately their restrictive offers have been very maddening.

You can get the discounts for DC through it because I booked it on the phone with them. Also when I called they could look up discounts for me. Told them I was going to Orlando with my platinum passes and they said that we could use them at the parks for 10% off food and metchandise. You get 30% at your home park.

I have the Super Grover pass, and at SW SD, I got preferred parking, no fuss entry, and discounts on food and gifts. No one batted an eye at our passes. And, my DD even got $1 off the sea lion feeding with our pass. Nice. I was going to renew, but not going to visit much of the Busch parks next year. The only reason my DD likes Sesame Place is that the water slides have a 54 inch ride requirement, so most of the time, we are the only few that rode them in August and into September. My teen went once and complained the whole time. I even got my DH a pass, as he is going to DC, BGT, SWO and Aquadica with us. I activated both his and my DS's passes at a kiosk at Sesame Place. I even got preferred parking the first time I visited, as I showed the parking attendant my printed voucher. That was nice too. Saved me $20 and had a closer parking spot. At SWSD, we were there right when the park was opening, and we got the first row of preferred parking. That was great. $20 parking for free there too, they just scanned my pass at the parking entry. I know with the Sesame pass, if you pay for FedEX shipping, they will send the passes activated. I found the phone people at the Busch parks very nice. I booked DC at a discount again just saying I had the Super Grover. She said I just needed them when I check in at DC. It was a great deal for us. I think I bought the passes in the early part of the new year, as they were still discounted 25%. I chose print at home, and had no trouble using a kiosk. No line when we went to Sesame Place, and the line for service was long. I was so happy I could use the kiosk.
