The stabilizer is not working on the motorhome and after taking it to the shop it cannot be fixed before our trip. Anyone run into this problem? Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated!!!

Is it just one stabilizer or all of them?

You could use a bottle Jack or other type of Jack to compensate if it's an individual stabilizer.

They aren't absolutely necessary but you'll notice a bounce . The campsites at FW are very level so you shouldn't have to worry too bad about being at an angle.

Our neighbors MH did same thing and they just winged it for that trip until they could get it fixed.

We had our MH in the shop for weeks waiting for the manufacturer to make a new leveller whose seal was wrecked. Luckily it was under extended warranty but they said if we were going away, they could have rigged it to not come down. Agree, for the Fort you won't need them for levelling out your RV, just to avoid the bounce of inside movement.

I'd just run without it or bring along a bottle or scissor jack. Having come from trailers, we don't use stabilizers on our MH, a 31 ft class C. After one set of wheels in the center of the trailer, the dual axle 6 wheels of the MH feels rock solid to us. Had we gone straight to a MH or opinion might be different, of course ;) . We get a little wiggle, but not enough to care. Especially since we're all generally awake or sleeping at the same times.
