for anyone who purchase snow globes at Disney beware you can not carry them on the plane with you anymore because of the liquid so either take the chance of breakage in your luggage or your best bet have them shipped home

Hi,

We brought a VERY large one home a couple of weeks ago in our checked luggage without any breakages.

As long as it's in the box that it comes in, I don't see any problems.

Good luck,
Andy

mine always go in the hold and have never been broken

Hi

We pack all our globes, cups, glasses etc. They put them all in cardboard boxes so we basically pack them around some clothes and towels. Luckily we have had no breakages :thumbsup2

I brought two back in my suitcase last trip and they are both fine.
I also had loads of ornaments and ornate picture frames, nothing broke as
i surrounded everything with my clothes!

Oh dear, I see this getting dangerous. DGF is going to want to buy snowglobes, this I already know and am happy with, but now she has an excuse to hit the malls and buy clothes for "protection for the snowglobes". I can see this ending very badly.

Yeh. Agreed. They're VERY well packed in the boxes so are fine in the hold...

We always put them in the hold and have never had any break.Dh fits them all in around our clothes for extra padding.
