No Snacks at TL or BB?

If I read the "2008 Confirmed Snacks Included in Dining Plan" thread correctly, there are no snacks available under the DDP at either TL or BB. Is that right?

You'd be able to go to the counter service location (like Lottawatta lodge @ Blizzard Beach) and get a single serving size bottle of water, soft drink, ice cream or popcorn, chips, etc most likely. It'll probably have a DDP logo next to it on the menu board. You can't get stuff from the carts there. That's never been an option on the DDP. They don't even accept room charges so bring cash.

I haven't confirmed this in 08 but I can't imagine that since they accept the DDP they wouldn't honor the listed snacks in the brochure....soft drink, water, popcorn, chips, fruit, ice cream, etc.

None of the carts can accept credit cards or room keys. They are cash only. This is even the larger sized carts/buildings, except for the main dining facilities. When we went to TL last summer, we were close to the coffee hut and they turned a guest away because she didn't have any cash on her.

Don't know if they will still do this, but one of the carts at the front of TL would let you go into the main store there, where they do the locker rentals, and pay w/room charge,and bring them the receipt. Pretty sure it was like a donut type place. We were there in September, it was pretty slow, so maybe that was why. None of the carts in TL or BB take the snack plan....they should give folks a heads up about the no room charge deal, it stinks. The ATMS there have CRAZY service charges.

You can get snacks at the main dining places. We ate at Leaning Palms last week and the water bottle, soda, and ice cream all had DDP snack symbols.
