No rooms at Wilderness Lodge Nov/Dec 2020?

Inventory has been light for a while. We had a CL room booked at WL, we booked it in September, and there was already low availability for our December trip. I ended up moving our reservation to CR on a BB offer when I went in January because there were zero CL rooms left (no rooms means no discount, and at over $900 a night I didn't like that), and the woman on the phone said there weren't even any BB discount rooms available there and said I was making a good decision moving. I looked at availability when I got back in early February and there was only a nature room available, this was well before any talk of closing, so I highly doubt it has anything with keeping down crowds after they open. December is an extremely popular time to go, and I can see why those rescheduling their canceled trips would move it to that time.

I’m guessing a lot of people pushed their trips to November/December because that is when they extended tickets until.

A lot of good info coming out of this thread. I can see Dec being booked up fast due to Christmas and the lower availability of rooms now due to DVC. What surprises me is the lack of availability in November. Even looking at midweek for 2 nights in the first couple weeks, there is nothing. Sometimes Copper Creek or Boulder Ridge, but that’s it.

Will continue to keep an eye on things. Booked for Sept right now, considering pushing it back to Nov/Dec.
