No Reservations

So... We booked our trip 8 weeks in advance so i'm finding not a lot of reservations are available. We leave 4 weeks from Tuesday! Can't wait. Last time we stayed at a DVC so ate there, packed lunches, etc. This time we are staying at POR Riverside. Family of 4 adults & 2 children, 5& 7. Is it best to just plan on having counter service meals all around the parks? I made two reservations for lunches two out of the 7 days we are there.

If there are any places you really wanted to eat I would keep checking for availability. People cancel all the time, its worth a try.

We are going mid april and made our reservations in late february so if there is some where you want to eat try giving dining reservations a call and try your luck! We were able to book Cinderellas Royal table, Hollywood & Vine Fantasmic package and Tusker House!

We too are staying at POR Riverside and if you are looking for a dinner at the resort, Boatwrights is supposed to be very good and is one of the most under rated restraunts (according to easywdw.com)

Booked this morning for Monday. Yes this Monday. There were some reservations available when I checked but we decided to wing it. Why not this trip was not planned so just go with it right! I will probably look for something the day of. Depending where we are but I am not worried about it. Each park has a CS that we like so.....
Like PPs have said if you really want something keep trying. We got BoG about 3 weeks out in Dec. It just appeared one day! you never know. Have a great time!!

Be Our Guest is counter service for lunch, so you don't need a reservation there .

Loved BoG for lunch and dinner. In Nov we were suprised with a soft opening. And we had lunch. Steak sandwich and chocolate cupcake. Both good. Then the Dec ressie popped up for dinner. It was great!

We're going around the same time and I have been trying to clean up my ADRs so I have been cancelling some reservations and moving others around. I've noticed that some days there will be spots available and then I'll check again and there will be 2 or 3 times. Plus, the computer system has been very difficult I think if you keep checking, it's possible something will turn up.

can be a good time to look. If people have cancelled or changed their dates of travel then there will be some restaurant cancellations.

Also, be open minded and try some new TS restaurants. Try to book for early dinner or late dinner; there will be more availability.
