Wasn't the first MVMCP last night, anybody go??? I am dying to hear how it was we will be there on the 30th!!!!

Well, don't forget it was just last night. And still early. So give it some time. However, it was wonderful. It was my first mvmcp ever, and it was a blast! I was over in Frontierland with the Country Bears, and had so much fun. It did not seem to be that crowded at all. The Christmas entertainment was wonderful- the parades, the fireworks, the Banjo group, all of them. And the Banjo group was the most fun. The last 3 times they were out we were there dancing. All in all a great evening.

Don't forget that the people who went are probably very hung over. You know how it is at one of Mickey's parties! Give them a few more hours, and you'll probably see a few posts.

I saw one person reporting that they had a great time last night! We will be there on the 30th also! :thumbsup2

Joanna, was it the regualr Country Bears show or did they have the Christmas one? I know there were some posts about the Christmas version not comming back this year. Were all the decorations out? What about the snow on Main Street? How were the cookies? I was also wondering if they had the Belle's Enchanted Christmas (I don't know if that was the name or not I am going on memory, which unfortunately isn't that good ;) ) Its a christmas version of the Storytime with Belle. Thanks for any information and I am glad to hear you had a good time.

:thanks:

I can officially confirm that the Christmas CBJ is not happening. :guilty: The regular CBJ is still playing, and there was a notice on the CM website.

And just wanted to add- for Belle's Storytime it is the Christmas version. The Christmas decorations are indeed out. They were serving cookies and hot chocolate in several locations (including at the Diamond Horseshoe).

:rolleyes1 I cant wait to hear about it to. Does anyone know if Christmas Wishes will be going on all through November and December like the HalloWishes was for October?

I am glad to hear that the Belle's Christmas show is going on, my daughter will LOVE that!!!

Did anyone see any little kids dressed up??

My daughter wants to wear her princess dress to which I say, yeah!!! My son wants to wear his Captain Jack Sparrow costume, I think its great, but I don't want him to feel out of place. So in case he does, I will have a change of clothes packed in the backpack. My other son is going to be a christmas tree, I have one of the disney christmas tree hats that lights up, he will look sooo cute!!!!

I was at the first party- but not as a guest. :) I did my first Belle's Enchanted Christmas with a real audience! (I'm one of Belle's assistants, the girls in the village dresses.)

I had my hairbow fall off while visiting with the audience and a little girl handed it back to me.

One show, I had trouble getting the gate open. The audience watched me struggle with the darn thing, and then they applauded when I got it. *sheepish grin*

Oh, the best was when a mother took a picture of me with her little daughter! I actually got to pose as myself. ;)

I remember you posting the other day that you were going to do this and was so excited for you! Glad it all went well. I hope when my family is there on 12/8 I will get to see you!

That's awesome, Angie!! I would love some more info on this show. Do you know the times? Is Belle in her red dress? Does she meet and greet after the show?

We'll be there on Dec 12th - will you be working then? I'd love to get your pic with my little girl!

Hi, a November 13th MVMCP-party person reporting in ....! :)

Well, got to admit, I didn't do much at the party, as I had a severe headache which only got worse as the evening progressed, so I didn't experience too much. :( I stayed until 10:15, so all I did some character hunting and basically walked all over! But basically, like with MNSSHP, the MVMCP party was exactly like last year, I didn't see much different.

I got there around 6:40, and it was a madhouse on Main Street, with many people exiting and many people coming in! But this cleared up later. CMs were stationed around, even in the Emphorium (sp?) Store, checking wristbands, asking you to hold up your hands and show yours. Lots of decorations up, of course!

I went to ToonTown, and Mickey and Minnie were in one room, and Cinderella and Aurora were in the other, I don't know if their princes were there, but usually they are at these parties. Mickey and Minnie are decked out in Holiday clothes, of course! :)

The best thing going at the party was SCROOGE was out!! :teeth: He was in Donald's Tree Lot, near the Tea Cup Ride. He and Donald were alternating all evening. I was hoping Scrooge would be there! He was out during the day there, even! :)

The dance party in Fantasyland was cute. The Pinocchio characters Gideon, Geppetto, and Pinocchio danced with kids. They alternated with Suzy and Perla. Belle in purple with Beast were in the stroller lot for Small World, and they alternated with Snow White and her prince. All four Country Bears were causing trouble in Frontierland near their ride and along the street. :) Jessie ansd Woody were meeting there outside, but I didn't see Bullseye.

Aladdin and Jasmine were meeting by Aladdin's Magic Carpets, and they alternated with Genie and Abu, so good to know Abu is out! Peter and Wendy were near POTC. In front of the park were Mary Poppins, Bert, and Mr. Penguin. Also there was Santa Goofy, Max (though he didn't seem to be out often!), and Santa Claus. I never went to the other dance party in Tomorrowland. I did see the "Night Before Christmas" show in Tomorrowland, which was awesome! The pink Hippos were in it! I loved it! :) And the fireworks were great!

Well, that was about it for me - I never stayed for the parade since I wasn't feeling too good by now. :( The snow on Main Street was there, and the cookies were large, soft sugary ones. Except for Scrooge in Donald's Tree Lot, the party seemed to be exactly the same as last year. But I was glad I went, but I admit I didn't enjoy a lot of things since I needed to get back to POP and go to sleep! :teeth:

Edited to Add: Forgot about the Pooh characters! Pooh and Eeyore were alternating with Tigger and Piglet. And Alice and the Queen of Hearts were by the Tea Cups, and they alternated with Mad Hatter and both Tweedles. And Brer Bear was hanging with the Country Bears, too! :)

Hi Sue,
Welcome Home, if you are home!! Hope you are feeling better. Can't wait to hear a full character report then. Hope you had a nice vacation. :) Thanks for the MVMCP report.

Thanks HugsForEeyore!

Sorry you weren't feeling well. :grouphug:

We're hoping to find Scrooge, Snow Prince, and Bert.

I've read that it snows on Main Street for the MVMCP. My question is, does the snow actually fall or is it placed out to look like it snowed?

Hey Hugs. I actually was with the Country Bears while they were causing chaos. But it was so much fun (a good kind of chaos).
