I always in the past have booked a few PS ressies. I haven't booked any for our upcoming trip. Am I crazy?

I don't think you're crazy, BUT I hope you're not disappointed if you can't eat at the restaurants you want.

You are not crazy, but just be very flexible. Personally, I don't like to wait too long to eat and don't like to scramble to find a restaurant that has availability. If you eat at off hours, the waits may not be too long. You are also going at a pretty busy time, the tail end of spring break season and early Easter season. You could book some PS's and cancel if you don't want them. That way you have them as a fall back.

Or if winging it is your speed, go for it! Many people do and like the spontaniety.

Not nuts at all--lots of folks seem to do fine w/o PS. BUT---there is always that chance you might have to wait somewhere, or more rarely, not be able to get in at all. That could be very disappointing if that particular meal was important for you.

For us, it matters on who's going. If we're with a varied group like family & friends or extended family it REALLY helps to have a dining plan all set up. You get 5 people turning in circles asking each other "are you hungry" or better yet "where do you want to eat?" The time spent will doing this and then looking at each possible location to see if you can be seated is not for me! I give everybody a dining itinerary so even if we get seperated we can meet up at the next meal and they can plan on being hungry at that time. Now if it's just DH & I or even DH, me and one little child it's easy to swoop into someplace great on a whim.

Your trip is more than two months away -- plenty of time to make a bunch if you want. We've got a trip the week before yours and I feel like we still have plenty of time. I don't think I've ever made them more than a month in advance -- once we did an eight-day trip in the car as we were driving through SC. We've also frequently added a ps after arriving at WDW. I don't think you have anything to worry about
