No Pin Pity Party-come On In!

Alrighty, all of you who never get pin numbers...come on over to my PITY PARTY!

Gonna whine until the MOUSE hears me

Honestly, I get like 50 emails a week from the Mouse...Disney Insider, junk from the online Dis store, even Photopass emails...

But NEVER-EVER a Pin #...

I don't even get the ones I can't use...

I don't even get the lousy ones for a measly 20% off...

(whiney enough?)

You'll notice I'm going twice in 2009 anyway

It would really be nice to get a pin code though....especially when you see people getting more than one!

Yea I finally got a code for 40 percent off any resort. The code is good through 2009 and you can book until the end of March 2009. I get all excited and start to check for the dates that would work for my family. I look on the card to check for the code and there was the name of a guest we had brought with us on a visit two years ago, but sent to my address because all of the arrangements where made with my credit card (and my money). If I understand correctly the person using the code has to be the one whose name is on the card. Just my luck.

None for me eitherbut I keep waiting . I do want to admit that it is hard to read about others getting pins or a postcard. I have helped about 30 families book and plan there vacations and I want to say that about 6 have gotten an email or postcard. Again, none for me. It is mindboggling I am the one that has gone online and signed them up for the DVD, I don't get it. Friends of ours, that live just down the road from us, get post cards all the time. We usually travel same dates and 2 years in a row we linked ourselves together as a grand gathering, one year under her name and one year under mine. The difference in our vacations
They own DVC
We use magical express and Disney transpertation, they rent a van

Its not fair , but I still Disney, I love Disney World so much. Here is a hug for everyone on this thread I feel your pain and understand your problem.

No pins for me either, and I'm on like all the Disney newsletters, movie club, movie rewards, shopping etc. You name it, I probably belong to it if Disney is somehow related!

Oh well...maybe someday!

No pins for me either. I am signed up to every Disney related thing you can imagine and even put up with the "junk mail" in hopes there will be a pin. Nope, nada...zilch. Nothing for my DLR or WDW trips.

Do Florida residents get these pins? Maybe they avoid me because I live in FL.

I don't live in Florida, so it's not just the FL folks they're avoiding...but maybe it's the fact that we're going anyway!

I got one. I was so excited it had our dates May25-June1 and use this code. When I called to see what the pin would save me they said it was an invalid code only good for fall. I had the email it showed our resort , the dates we wanted all our plans from where I had called to get a price on it. They said sorry and told me to go ahead and book and said I could hope for a new code the cm said new codes come out all the time. What a let down! Oh well. We are still going 4 for 7. I'm happy and my families happy, but I needed a beer when I found out the code didn't work.
