Checked in at the Comfort Inn and suites Maingate. Lovely welcome at front Desk. First impressions were good, recent renovation had taken place and foyet nice and bright, with coffee and water on offer.
Room was good considering we paid less than £50.00 for 2 nights, including breakfast. Gary popped out for some drinks from the 7 eleven across the road and we all got ready to eat out tonight at outback.
Gary had subscribed to the Outback website, where there is a section to subcribe to for the Nascar driver Outback have sponsored, Randy Newman. If he finishes in the top 10 of a race on a Sunday, on a Monday you can visit the restaurant and quote his name and you will get a free blooming Onion.
Well, he fininshed in the top 10 on Sunday, so we were entitled to a free blooming onion. Our waitress was unaware of this promotion, but I had the e mail sent from Outback on my phone.
Had to say that the meal was not as good as we have witnessed before. Gary's dish did not have the sweet potatoe fries as requested
and Amy's and My steak had been mixed up, I have medium and Amy Medium well, but Amy's was very bloody. Anyway, didn't make a fuss, ate up and got back to the room for a much needed sleep.
Next day Mall of Millenia and Cheescake Factory!!
