Hello! I’m not sure I’m in the right spot but would appreciate some insight. We are going to be at Trails End for dinner tomorrow night and are looking for a place to watch the fireworks. Am I right in my plans that we can see them from near the restaurant? If not can you point me in the right direction? We’ve never stayed at Fort Wilderness so I’m not super familiar.

From Robo's Maps thread on the TPA&S forum,
"At the Fort Wilderness Campgrounds Marina (angle shown on the map below,) some of the view (especially of the "Fantasyland" pyro)
is blocked by the now unused Discovery Island in Bay Lake and by the high-rise buildings of the Contemporary Resort.
But, the view from the Ft. Wilderness' sand beach (farther north) is more open.
Still the tree-level can block the views of the lower-firing pyro.

Note that there's no photo as referenced above; temporary problem getting images to display from wherever he has them stored.

You could also take a boat from Fort Wilderness to the CR to watch the fireworks from the 4th floor viewing platform.

Just FYI, I am not sure if it’s impacting fireworks viewing as I haven’t been there in person recently, but there’s a large part of the FW beach that is fenced off for construction related to the Reflections resort next door. I’m sure the folks on the Camping board can comment specifically.

Here’s some recent aerial pics of the area:
