NO Palo reservations!

We just booked for Sep. 24 Western and tried to make Palo ressies, but the only thing they had was embarking day 8 or 8:30 and the only other time was when we will be in Cozumel. Does it seem to open up the sooner you get to your travel date? Are people booking up more than they really want to eat there? Anyone have a problem with not being able to eat at Palo? Any info would be great. Thanks

Well we just did brunch not a dinner but when you first get on the ship you go to Rockin' Bar D and make ressies there if you don't get them before hand. Like I said we were just brunch which was wonderful, but someone said they only book about 60% before hand. Hope this helps and you get your ressies.

I made my ressies online, but had to call to link two staterooms for Palo's, and the DCL agent told me that they hold spots for Palo's for people who can't get online or so. That even though it says they are no more reservations online, there will be some when you board. Good luck.

You may want to go ahead and book one of those that are available and then change when you get on board. Since you are on a 7 day, I don't think you'll have a problem.

We just got back last Thursday from a 4-day on the Wonder. I had tried to make reservations for Palo for dinner online, but it said they were full. We did get a brunch, though. When we got on the ship, we were able to talk to Palo people who said they were having some trouble with the online system (for Palo only) and it was telling people it was full, when it wasn't. I think they save some anyway, for people who make reservations on board. Don't sweat it...I think you'll be ok!

my wife and myself didn't make any reservations until we got on board. could of had our dinner the day we got put on the waiting list, but we asked for the next night and was able to switch to that night.

If you cant book immediately for Palo, then dont panic. Just ask to be put on the cancellation list and check daily with Palo desk - early in the day. Pretty sure you will be able to get a place during the week. Many people cancel for various reasons.........or simply forget to go!Brunch is just fabulous........better than dinner, as you get a wonderful view of the ocean:which you wont get at night! Since you booked this cruise less than 75 days before sailing, all the other cruisers have already been able to make Palo reservations online. Don't worry, they will hold some out for onboard booking. Just try to get to the terminal early and make sure a member of your party goes to do that as soon as you board.
