Booked at the GCH for 3/11&3/12, but we are flying in on 3/10 Sat. We want to go to the parks Sunday so we want to be close? Any suggestions? How about the "good neighbor" hotels, which ones are these. Any more convenient than the others. I assume we'll drive over to the GCH Sunday am to drop our bags and get our park hopper tickets. Booked on disney website, any other sites have better availability. I'm not happy that we have to stay at different hotels, then we are heading down to OC, that means at least 3 hotels for a one week stay. But happy we are going to DL.

We just got back and stayed at the Best Western Park Place Inn. I would definately stay there again. It is right across the street in front of the crosswalk and was very clean and had friendly staff.

I checked Getawaytoday.com and they too were sold out for GCH on March 10. The Disneyland Hotel has availability for all three nights though:confused3

I have been trying to get a room checking in 03/09 checking out 03/14 - No Disney hotels had any vacancies. Of the Good Neighbor hotels - I was offered La Quinta. But they had messed up the dates (off by one) and when we went back to change it, it was no longer available! The only hotels offered for that time frame were the Motel 6 (formerly Red Roof) and Travelodge.

Not having too much luck!

We'll be at the Candy Cane Inn starting March 10. I love that it had its own shuttle and is also a doable walk. :thumbsup2

Check out Expedia & other brokers for more options. They often have rooms when the hotels direct don't. Did you try the HoJos, they usually have rooms available?

That is the weekend March/Spring breaks start (based on the extended hours at Disney).

We thought the Candy Cane Inn was great, especially for the price. It has its own shuttle (although we walked one night). They also include a free continental breakfast.
