I was browsing the My Disney Experience App when I noticed that it said something to the tune of "after you redeem your 3 picks go to a kiosk to make another selection". Do you have to go to a kiosk? Can't you just use the app?

1. Yes. Kiosk ONLY for the 4th (or more) FP+ that day.

2. No. But, once you BOOK your 4th selection at the kiosk, you can CHANGE it using the App or Site.

If there is a FP you want, it is worth taking the time to scroll through when you are at the kiosk to see if it is available. Obviously, if it is, grab it. It only takes a minute to scroll through and grab one that you would LIKE to use, instead of the first one you "see".

Then you can still try to modify it on the app if something better comes available.

Those extra minutes that you wait (after just picking "anything" at the kiosk) and THEN signing onto your phone App, and THEN scrolling thru (often at a slower pace, due to slow WiFi at WDW) could mean that you just missed getting the attraction and/or time that you wanted.

Of course. Obviously if there's something on the list you want, you grab it. But if not, then rather than just say "I don't want any of these choices" and giving up, I take one of them anyway for the very end of the day and use the mobile app to check periodically to see if something better becomes available. That's the advantage of being able to make changes via the mobile app.
