No news on Treasure for Summer 2024 release? Or did I miss it?

I'm watching for a merrytime I think. I really enjoyed the one we took in 2018 and eager to do another. If they also launch in summer then it'd be about 5-6 months after which is hopefully long enough to shake things out. It'll depend on price and itinerary tho.

I looked up the Keel laying for the Wish and it was April 8th 2021 so we are basically at the exact same point (give or take a week or so) and it's the Treasure so a summer 2024 cruising start is not out of the realm of possibility for the Treasure. Wish itineraries and sailings were also sold separately from the rest of the fleet.

With the Wish you have to keep in mind that in 2021 there were still quite a few restrictions in Germany for the pandemic that could easily have slowed things down. We were on lockdown still in April 2021 from the winter wave. It didn’t end until mid May. Yes, most workplaces were working as usual, but there were stringent testing requirements and enforced 10 day quarantines (with full pay picked up by the government). Then there was the Delta wave with many people being off work sick and/or in quarantine. My city had to adjust the public transport time tables then as too many bus and train drivers were sick at the same time.

So, I am not sure how much this might still have affected construction speed at the shipyard.

I would imagine they still are experiencing some ripples with staffing and material shortages as well. I'd guess the same general timeframe but hopefully with a more finished & polished ship at sailing. Time will tell!
