No MSEP on a night with CTM and Wishes?

We are going on our first trip to WDW in Sept. We have 3 MK days planned, but Two are party nights (we are not attending). Thursday night September 15th is the night we are planning on catching the nighttime shows at MK. They have wishes and celebrate the magic on the calendar, but not the parade. Is that an oversight, or do they sometimes do those two and not the parade?

Now this would tick me off in a huge way. I sure hope that's wrong.

Noooo! I've seen Paint the Night and was hoping to catch MSEP in November. Balls! *fingers crossed* it's not true

Well, I noticed this when looking into doing the Tony's package where you get the passes for a viewing spot for the parade. It has the option for the night before, as well as the 17th, and other nights later into September, as well as October and November. But not the 15th despite there being Wishes on that night. So if there is a parade switch in the works, it doesn't seem that that is the scheduling issue here, as there are dates available for other nights.

I can't find anything else on the web to substantiate the rumor. My guess is this rumor has no connection to OP's concern about the schedule. Sorry guys, I shouldn't have said anything. I'll just go pour myself another cup of coffee and step away from the conversation...

That would be a major downgrade for DL attendees however having seen videos of Paint the Night I'd LOVE to see it in person
