The other night, the 5 of us were sitting at the dinner table. My older 2 kids are close in age and know each other's friends. They all go to the same middle school. As I am sitting there eating, listening to these 2 converse back and forth about their day and what not, my daughter Jeana tells my son something that I NEVER hope to hear again!! She tells him, "Oh Kirk, Danielle thinks you're HOT!!" :faint: Excuse me, but the ONLY time I want to hear ANY of my children described as "hot" is when it is at least 90 degrees outside!!! :earseek: I just about gagged on my dinner!! Could someone please tell me when my "cute" son became hot?? I don't remember giving anyone permission to become "hot"!!

LOL, yeah, this weekend my 12 yo had a friend over and they were talking about guys that were "hot". I couldn't believe my ears.

I feel your pain. Even my guys 8 &10 have "girl trouble". My poor 8 yr old who absolutely detests girls, pink, Barbie, Disney princesses... is constantly chased by girls at recess. He's concerned because our neighbors just sold there house to a family from their school & one of the girls who chases him is moving - he's convinced it's her. (Neighbors couldn't remember their last name.)

My 10 yr old is friendly with girls. I knew there was one he had a crush on but neither of my sons would tell me who the girl is. Yesterday, DS was telling me how he had to switch seats & is now between Emma & Chelsea because they talked to much. He turned bright red when he mentioned Chelsea's name. :faint: It's just not right.

It's always fun when your sons move into the "Gasoline & Perfume Years" (cars & girls)

La la la la la....covering my hears...not hearing this.....I am hoping I still have about 10 years until I have to worry about hearing this LOL

My DD and DS go to the same High School and she is a cheerleader there . My DS says that he is SICK of hearing " I cant believe that is your sister she is so HOT " LOL
She is graduating this year and he is so happy !

Welcome to the world of middle school. It happens. They grow up. :( You will survive:hug:

My eight year old described his teacher as "sexy". We had quite a talk about that one. (she is a former beauty queen, but really!)

Mad4Mickey, we have the opposite problem. DS and DD went to HS together and DD has heard "that's YOUR brother" until she wants to scream! The bad thing is he graduated two years ago and she is still hearing it!! LOL!

Over the summer DS and friend (both9) were discussing who is "hot" and who they want to ...KISS!!!:earseek: SO not looking forward to teen years yet!!
