No more Zip-a-dee-doo-dah Tip for the Day???

Please say it aint so but I've just read in another thread that there is no more Zip-a-dee-doo-dah Tip channel I love that thing. Anyone have any leads on this? It was there when I visited in August! The post said it was removed from POFQ is it true of all resorts?

It was true of AKL in December and POFQ last weekend. I believe it is gone from all of them and has been replaced by a 30 minute loop which I find kind of annoying.

PLEASE, PLEASE BRING BACK THE ZIPPEDY DO DAH CHANNEL!

It is true.....I became hopelessly addicted to it, and would find myself singing it all day in the parks when we were at AKL in Sept, then when we went back it was GONE! Weve stayed at a few resorts since then and none have it. Its been replaced.

It wasn't around in December, instead it was that 30 minute loop that they kept showing over again and again. I really loved my Zip a dee doo da Tip for Today. (more than I thought). Wish they'd bring it back (although I know it's still there in Spanish!).

My DW loved it so much that I set the Camcorder on the bed and zoomed in and recorded it for a while. Longer than I thought too. She will be crushed when I tell her this. She had a hard time when Stitch took over Mickeys wake up call. But this...

At least Mickey got his wake up call job back! I swear that Zip a Dee Doo Dah being gone messed up the vibe of our January trip. When I'm in the room, that was always the only thing I had on. But I couldn't keep listening to that replacement loop. I never thought I'd miss it so much, but I really really do! I have heard the clip on live365 radio, though...

I want to chime in, too because it seems bringing things up here gets things done.

Bring back the Tip for Today! I always watched that channel. It got me all excited about my day in the park while I was getting dressed. It got me all excited about going back out if I stopped back in the room. It got me excited about my next day at night.

BRING IT BACK.

The yellow Hopper ticket man and Tip for the day are on the Spanish channel in Disney Resorts.

The entry jingle is in english as well as the text - the rest is dubbed into Spanish.

She drove me nuts.

I don't see how anyone can watch that over and over. On our first trip I'd listen to Tip of the day while getting ready each morning. This trip I enjoyed watching the news much more than the top 7 girl.

I too miss the tip for the day! We would tease each other when we were hungry as to what to have for dinner, we would always laugh and say fish and chips yeah!!!

This is so funny! I thought I was kooky because I would have on that Zip e dee doo dah channel while we were in the room. Now I hear other people did it too! It is additive, but it makes it more Disney.

This was so much part of our vacation that my kids were singing it for a month after we returned home. We really missed it this time and watched the news instead. It just wasn't the same. Not a "Disney" morning without it. Couldn't we petition this as a group and send it to the powers that may be to reinstate the Zippedy Do Dah Channel?

And I have to admit I'm now addicted to listening to Krista. First time, I saw it...didn't care for it. Second time, liked it better. Now I have it on several times during a trip!
