No More Snow White Ride at WDW?

I have looked at the map you posted and I just looked at the regular park map I have from Magic Kingdom. And it's no goof on their part. You have a Pirate Princess Party Park Map. The map you have isn't the regular park map, let me assure you of that. The attractions are listed under the layout of the map, that's always how they do a party type map. The regular park map has a lot more listings. The one you have posted doesn't have very many and the type is a much larger font than the map I hold here in my hand. You definately have a Pirate Princess Park Map dear.

I guess you can't make that out. But believe me, we've both looked at that map and there is no SW ride listed on it.

I am glad to know that it is still there. I think I will keep it as an oddity. Somebody goofed.

OK Thanks sdickison. It was sent to me after reserving a room for our upcoming trip in December. It didn't say it was for the Princess and Pirate Party. But that certainly makes sense for why it wasn't on the map.

Was this sent to you by Disney or a friend down here?

I wouldn't think Disney would send a park map for that party out in the mail.

I would love to see what the front of the map you have has on it. The regular park maps fold out kinda like a book I guess you would say. The regular park map that I have that is current has Pirates of the Caribbean on it with Jack Sparrow and says guidemap at the top and compliments of Eastman Kodak Company at the bottom.

The map was sent to me by Disney with some other vacation stuff.

here is the front of the map.

The map they sent you wasn't an actual park guidemap that you pick up when you enter the park. That has to be a misprint I guess from them, I don't know. But the ride is running and is on the park map that you get at the park.

Yes I think you are right. It definitely is not the same as the one you get when entering the park. Thanks.

Your more than welcome, glad I was able to help somewhat. Not to worry, Snow White will be running when you get here. Hope you have a great time at Disney and in Orlando.

I was there for Christmas and I was sent the same map in the mail after I booked my room. Before we left for WDW I also noticed on the map that Snow White was missing, but it was listed online and when we got there I saw that it was still there.

BTW about Mr. Toad- It's still around if you want to see it.. It's at Disneyland!

I do want to see it...Mr. Toad, that is...and the Main Street Cinema...and the original Penney Arcade...and the Walt Disney Story, presented on Main St., the way it showld be. Guess I'll go back to Disneyland!

I can't live without the Snow White ride. It's tradition. You can't get rid of that. What Disney needs to do is upgrade the ride. Put in animatronic characters and go deluxe all the way.

Come on Imagineers....YOU CAN DO IT!!! Put that Pixie Dust to good use.

Well it was open when i went in March, and i havnt heard anything about it closing... :confused3

Haha this is kinda off topic but when i went on it back in March the ride broke down when i was on it, and all the lights came on and you could see EVERYTHING. It was kinda funny actually. :lmao:

I was just at WDW last week of May and the ride was there and there were lines of people every time we walked by...

I totally agree. It is a classic but definitely needs a major facelift.
