No more Pizza Corner!

Very sad to hear the news that my favourite Pizza shop will close its doors after Feb 28th. Such a shame and one less option for dining when staying at our favourite resort! Hopefully something just as good surfaces.

Interesting. I've read mixed reviews about the pizza there. Our experience was that it was OK. Wondering what will open in its place.

We were not fans of their pizza. We got it on our first trip 3 years ago and only ate 1 piece each and threw the rest away. It was called it cardboard pizza. Dry, tasteless crust and OK toppings.

Each to their own I guess. I loved taking the pizza back to the room.. Loved the garlic knots too.

That is true, everyone has different tastes. No right or wrong. Maybe that his why that place had such a varying reviews. Most places are either mostly good or bad, but Pizza corner always had mixed reviews.

We found the pizza was mediocre but the garlic knots were amazing!
My family will be disappointed for sure.

Aw, that’s a shame. The sauce they used was very low acidity, so it was one of the few places DH and DD could have pizza without a Tums chaser. And the owner was such a super sweet guy, always coming around to meet customers and handing out free garlic knots. Wishing the best for him and his family!!

Yes I was not at all impressed with the pizza but our family did have a great meal there nonetheless. Monkeypod had some pretty good pizza and during happy hour is very affordable.

I am so crushed that this place isn’t open anymore. Not half as crushed as my Son will be. During each of our trips this place was a main staple. I believe the owner’s name was Mike. He was great and remembered my family and I each time we cam back over the years.
