No More Opt-In Mousekeeping?

My big question is: What are the alternatives? Are local maid services allowed to come in the rooms? If we're supposed to do all the cleaning ourselves, will we have all the tools? Vacuum cleaner, toilet scrubbers, bathtub cleaners, etc. etc.

Not all of my guests have a tolerance for uncleanliness, so I'm a bit worried this is going to impact their experience

(Speaking from inexperience here... We haven't yet stayed longer than a couple nights in a DVC property - THANKS COVID!!)

Fair question. I assume you could have an outside service clean daily, on your dime. It doesnt seem any different than when I have my cousin stop by for a visit, except you are paying someone to clean. I’d assume that’s permitted?

I would be very surprised that this would be allowed.

We hire Disney for property management so I think they can control if they will have the staff to provide it, even for a fee

We like having a cleaning mid stay that includes fresh towels. I wouldn't want them in everyday.
